Well. That was certainly a waste. At least for Irma.
The mission was a success - they were able to get a hold of a special artifact that was supposed to help them get to point B (whatever that might be), but to Irma, that wasn't the bad thing. The bad thing was that most of the group didn't get to be there. Stupid rituals.
Relaxing on a bench within the ship's bench, Irma thought back to those rituals and the fact that, to get in, they had to get married. Then, thought back to the fact that her and Hay Lin were anxious to drag Will onto the mission. What would have happened if they got through? Would they have to be married for the sake of that?
Irma's cheeks burned red as her mind wandered back to that. Her and Hay Lin? Not a problem. Her, Hay Lin and Will? It made her feel just a tad funny. Probably that same funny feeling that she had about Hay Lin.
"...no. No, no, no. I wouldn't be thinking like that. Would I?" she said to herself. She shook her head and tried to shove that thought back, only for another to surface about someone else. And another.
"...maybe I am." she said.
(OoC: Karl-mun said it was cool to go on, so...)

"...and they're both someone close."
Hint, hint.

No, she doesn't get it.

Instead, she took Will's hand with her own, hoping that will get her attention.
"No... it's... it's Hay Lin and..." she trailed off, looking at Will, hoping THAT'LL get the message across.

Dear god, when did that happen? "Irma... how? Why? When? I mean... we were... just friends back home and I've only been here a month? How does that..."

"You just don't know what I've been through since I came here." Irma explained. "There was the Nightmare King and the Ohm and that virus and Steve attacking... I was always in the crossfire, almost always without my powers and... I'm always afraid that one day I may never see you guys again."
Her eyes looked away from Will. "Hay Lin was the first person I've admitted to and... she does feel the same. And you... there was another one here, but she was always missing. And it made me miss you and..."
She wanted to run right now, but, that wouldn't help her situation.

Well, she couldn't flat out say that she couldn't really think it would work. After all, considering everything here, she had a hard time really knowing what was going on, or how things could even change that quickly... except that it wasn't quickly from Irma, was it. "I..."

"Will... you're my friend. And yeah, I admit, I... I do like you like that. But... I don't want to do anything that might hurt us in the end. We could try, though, and I'd understand if you don't want to..."
She couldn't help but chuckle, blushing a bit. "But, that's probably wishful thinking on my end. It's up to you, Will... you're the leader here." She smiled a bit

"I understand, Will. Like I said, wishful thinking." she said, wrapping an arm around her in a reassuring hug. "I'm not rushing you and I don't want you to. 'sides... nothing said we can't be friends still, right?"
