it's days like these, you gotta find it in some other way, so one foot in front of the other [OPEN]

Now she's decided she needs to go running, and with people constantly in and out of the sensorium, reliving old battles (Honestly she thinks do I go in there and recreate the bridge of the Basroil? No.), the halls seem like the best place. Simply put, the gravity's getting to her and she's afraid of being a burden to her team just because she spent almost all her life in half G.

So you can find Lafiel in the hallways, the walls flashing past her eyes in a monotonous display of throbbing meatiness as she jogs.

The floor, however, is uneven. She steps into a pothole and falls abruptly, followed by a string of curses in Baronh. She's sprained her ankle.

After bandaging herself up (too prideful to accept help from Stacy), she'll be at the mess hall, downing bowls of the bland, proteiny glop, because after a workout, you really don't care all that much about taste.

Find her in either place.

"No apologies necessary, commander. I'm sure that many of my people's customs would seem to strange to you, as would yours to mine."

Another pause as he thinks, "A few weeks, I believe. It's rather hard to keep track of time in here...."

"Are we?" He cocks his head to one side, "You mean you're related to humans?"

He shrugs, forcing down another mouthful of 'food' before replying, "It's not like in Starfleet, or any military organization I've ever heard of. But we'll get something worked out."

"Interesting. Genetic engineering has been outlawed in the Federation since the Genetic Wars of the late 20th century," Kirk leans forward, food temporarily forgotten, "Fascinating, to borrow a word from Spock."

Her next statement brings a slight grimace to his face, "Don't I know that. We have to do something to get these people welded together into a unit, but they're all so different... and so many of them would rather be individuals then work as a team... Ah, forgive me, Commander. You don't want to hear about my troubles."
