Stacy is a weird place... [Open]
The past few days have been a whirlwind for Cagalli. Her home, gone, her people, gone... a mysterious ship beyond her comprehension her only salvation. Others too, including many of her friends by some stroke of impossible luck (or was it?).
Having her brother, her best friend, and others she knew here for her kept her together long enough to get her bearings. She had to figure out what this place was like and how things worked, and then find a way to be as useful as she could be. Awe at what was happening and what this place was could only occupy her for so long - she needed to find a job to do before she started thinking too much again.
So far: The food sucked, the living quarters were boring, the hangar and hydroponics were awesome... and she still hadn't checked out anywhere near the whole ship. How anyone made an organic ship, and how they made it this big... she'd probably never know.
Deciding to try something new, she looked at the 'comm ring.' She'd heard the explanation, but had yet to try it out, as busy as she was. First, she sent it a general thought - 'Everyone'. Would that work? On top of that she thought of everyone she'd run into so far, the people she knew as well as the Koopa King and Allenby, hoping that it would prioritize the 'everyone' and then if that didn't work...
She was confusing herself. Time to think at it some more! "Hello? Am I using this right? Can anyone hear me? This is Cagalli Yula Atha, Chief Representative of Orb," she introduced herself. It felt appropriate for a message of this scale.
[OOC: Cagalli's testing out the comm rings from whatever random hallway she happened to get the idea in, though she'll be moving into and through the city as she talks because standing around in a hallway the whole time is boring. Feel free to run into her instead of ringing her!]

Thus it was that he rounded a corner in the hallway without any forewarning of Cagalli's presence.

She was a bit caught up in her thoughts when she came to a corner, not expecting a collision with a sudden obstacle that happened to be a person. She stumbled back a few steps, shook her head, and looked up. "Sorry! That was my fault."

Balanced regained after a moment, he lifted a hand to forestall her protests, quite sheepish. "Not at all, I really ought to have been looking where I was going. I am terribly sorry."

Compared to the man, her speech and bearing were forward and confident, so the man's slightness made her feel a little worse. Fortunately she hadn't actually knocked him down, so there wasn't any harm. Smiling, Cagalli offered him a handshake. "Cagalli Yula Atha."

Guess there was no running away now. He raised a hand in the hallway, hoping to grab her attention. And hopefully before she tried to do anything rash, letting his own greeting drone off into the air.
"Yo...."

Of course, the unexpected seemed par for the course, and suddenly, here he is! Cagalli paused, blinking a few times. Yep. Definitely him. "Dearka Elsman?"
no subject
"That's my name, Chief Representative. I hope you don't plan on wearing it out."
no subject
"I honestly have no intent of doing so, Mr. Elsman, though I am glad to see you here and in one piece," she admitted (as much of an admission as it was anyways.) "Have you been here longer than I have, or did you just wake up as well?
no subject
"And by the way, call me Dearka. Mr. Elsman makes me sound old."

no subject
"Why? Are you scared to ask for one yourself? I suppose I'll do your dirty work."

Instinct, of course, won out. Cagalli turned slowly, a smile growing and tears welling up. "A-Athrun..." she choked out, before she stepped towards him, her feet seeming to move on their own. "Athrun!"
no subject
"Athrun... I'm so glad I found you," she whispered as she buried her head in his shoulder. The tears that built up came free now as she held Athrun and was held, relieved beyond belief that she'd finally run into the last of the four of them.

"Who's there!? No, wait, Where ARE you? Show yourself!!" Bowser roared, his mind focused on whoever was talking to him.

no subject
"Oh, right, you. How the heck are you talking to me like this? What are you, some kind of mind reader? You'd better not touch anything in my brain!"
Bowser pauses for a moment. "And what's with all that stuff after your name?"
