The Return Trip

For the most part, the groups reconvene without incident. There are some minor injuries and a few are battered, but overall, everyone is fine. At least barring poor Leela, her arm swollen, her breathing still troubled. Fortunately, when she's brought back aboard Obs Deck, Stacy provides something if a medical cot out of the floor, that she can be secured to by her caregivers for the return trip, as well as an oxygen mask.

However, as they all meet up again and climb back on board, there is one group that's a little late...

"Anaphylactic shock," he answers. "However we've already administered the appropriate treatments, so she should be fine. I'm also more than capable of keeping an eye on her and offering assistance should anything happen before we return to the ship."

And more effectively than you could, he wants to add, but it should be obvious enough from his voice and the rather pointed way he's watching the holographic display projecting from his forearm - much more effective than archaic manual measures. He realises he shouldn't be so defensive, but he's used to being the emergency medic for the Legion, so having others around attempting to do the same puts him on edge.

Nightwing does a quick count as people come in, helping to drag people in as well. Six groups of seven people each. Forty-two, which was the number once the last people were on. Old habit, but one that has stood him in good stead for a while now.

He doesn't relax once they're all in, though. Because those things out there have a hell of a lot of teeth. "Any time now, Stacy."

Jean shoot Brainic 5 a slightly annoyed look. "I never said you weren't capable of keeping an eye on her," she points out quickly. "But as one of the medical officers on board the ship, it's my duty and responsiblity to take care of all sick members of the crew."

She eyes him, almost daring him to push her on this one. "I'm sure between the two of us she'll be more than fine. Don't you agree?"

B5 now's not the time to be pushing the annoyed telepath.... What do they teach kids these days?

He thinks it's more likely that having two of them keeping an eye on her will be entirely unnecessary, but this isn't the time for an argument about that.

"If you say so," he says neutrally, but it wouldn't take a telepath to detect his opinion on that either. To him it's simply a matter of having the better equipment for the job, and it's hard to beat the guy who can make most of the equipment needed out of his own body.

Soundwave's engine hummed loudly, while his intakes panted to calm himself down. Completely tired and dented. He had been one of the fastest, though, burning energon through the terrain while driving towards the ship. At least dents were the only injuries he had sported, while his Laserbeak squawked painfully, wing broken.
