It's that time again...

There are few things in the 'verse Kaylee can't stand. One of them, obviously, is that wonderful little group made up of people like Early and Niska. Another is insults to her ship. Possibly the biggest thing on the list, though, is seeing sad and lonely people, mostly because she knows there isn't much she can do to help outside of offering a friendly smile and shoulder to lean on.

Or, in this case, offering free hugs.

Once again, Kaylee has settled herself down at one of the tables in the Mess Hall with her 'Free Hugs!' sign. Even if hugs aren't wanted, the mechanic is also perfectly willing to lend an ear for a nice chat or just some company for a little while. Anything to boost morale.

"I think I can abide by that," Hoshi replied with a cheeky grin on her face.

With no hesitation, she wrapped her arms around Kaylee. "There! Now you have to give me one."

After some time in the hug, Hoshi stepped back and practically beamed after it. Hugs were good for making your mood better, but it wasn't as if Miss All Smiles needed them -- she practically radiated a good mood.

"So, do you wanna tell me more about yourself, Kaylee?"

Hoshi sat back, next to Kaylee and smiled. "Oh, I don't mind hearing about engines and technobabble. Go ahead."

Hoshi listened to what Kaylee had to say, definitely engrossed in what she said. She even leaned forward a bit from the seat she was sitting down in.

"Was any of it hard, either here on Stacy or the Serenity?" That was her first question, but she did have a few more to give to her, in which she asked them all when there was breather room.

Hoshi never minded being that audience that Kaylee loved. She was still a very curious girl about various things, including machinery and engineering.

"I can imagine how many headaches you might've gotten, too," she added on with a small chuckle.

"That makes sense. I'm kinda into mechanics myself," Hoshi said, displaying her beyblade itself. It didn't look to be all too mechanical at a first glance, but it was still very detailed oriented and well made.

"This is my beyblade, Seraphiel AV4!"

"It's a customizable top that can be built to your specific needs when you beybattle," Hoshi explained simply, definitely starting off at the basics of it.

Somewhere in her mind, she wondered if she should write down a guide or a manual of some kind when it came to beyblading.

"It's done with two or more people. Both bladers do what they can to survive the longest in the dish and can unleash attacks to make the fight just that much harder. The one who has their beyblade knocked out of the dish first loses," Hoshi answered, a smile on her face from all the times she was in the matches themselves.
