Exploring the Hangar

Setsuna had shown her the way to the hangar after she had woken up on this ship and now she was going to look over the Virtue and 00 Raiser. If the suits were there, then she could take a look over them and make sure that they were indeed fully repaired and ready to fight if they were needed. She was also curious about these other 'Gundams' and wanted to see just what they looked like and possibly meet some of the other pilots.

She didn't have the Red Haro with her as she walked into the hangar and looked around. She spotted Exia, the 00 Raiser and Virtue immediately. They were familiar to her since she had worked on them before. She didn't recognize any of the other suits in the hangar. They were different than what she was used to seeing. They had similar builds to the Gundams that she knew, but they were all different.

(OOC: Open to any of the pilots!)

It was time for another regular maintenance of his Mobile Suit. Despite the suit not having seen action since the attack on Zokez II, Lowe had to make sure that the Astray Red Frame was still up and running. Admittedly, he was happy to hear about Cowabunga's progress and couldn't wait to see it in actual action.

As he worked, Lowe spotted the pink-haired girl looking over the Mobile Suits. "Oh, hey! Something up?"

[identity profile] kitbashurgundam.livejournal.com 2011-01-03 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
She knew two pilots? Her bright pink hair did seem to suggest that she was a Coordinator, so she might have known Kira and Yzak in their times. Of course, there was also Duo or Setsuna...

"Ah, well, you're looking at another pilot. I'm Lowe Guele." he said. "And that..." he pointed to his Mobile Suit "...is the Astray Red Frame. (http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/MBF-P02Kai_Gundam_Astray_Red_Frame_Kai)" Despite the fact that the suit looked like a Gundam, notice he didn't call it that.

[identity profile] kitbashurgundam.livejournal.com 2011-01-03 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, those two. He'd heard of them. Heard of Setsuna's little fight with Kira. Certainly not the pilots he'd kind of expected.

"It's nice to meet you, Feldt!" Lowe said. He took a good look at the 00 Raiser, Exia and Virtue and whistled a bit. "I'd seen them before, but never up close. I've... been kinda worried doing so wouldn't be wise. Even if I'm one of the mechanics here."

[identity profile] kitbashurgundam.livejournal.com 2011-01-03 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Lowe let out a sigh of relief. It was good to know that there was someone here that knew how to work on them. "Great! I have to admit, that's a bit off my shoulders."

A smile crossed his face as he continued. "If you need anything else, I'll be glad to give you a hand with it...!"

Heavy metal blared out of a red ZAKU, as a Tauren wearing a facemask busied himself by spray-painting the symbol of the Horde on it's shield.

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Feldt enter.

"Oh. Hey!" Cowabunga shouted, pulling off the mask. "Looking for anything?"

[identity profile] cow-abunga.livejournal.com 2011-01-05 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
"Ah, Gotcha. Who, outta curiosity?" he asked.

[identity profile] cow-abunga.livejournal.com 2011-01-08 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
"Ah..." He trailed off.

"You know your friends have issues, right?"

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-03 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
There was a hangar. A hangar with Mobile Suits in it. This ship thought of everything, didn't it? Except getting some more Gundam Fighters. So far, Hans Holger was the only one Allenby had managed to find here, which was honestly a huge miscalculation on Stacy's part because if you wanted someone to defend a planet you couldn't do better than the Shuffle Alliance--

She didn't like the transport tentacles, but at least they were fast. Allenby brushed off her plantsuit as she looked around and saw... Gundams. Unfamiliar Gundams, but Gundams just the same.

That meant Nobel Gundam had to be around here. She started running in, but skidded to a halt when she spotted someone with pink hair. "Heeeey! You know your way around this place?" she asked, waving.

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-03 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh, you too huh?" Allenby sighed. She wanted to say something more, but--the only thing she could think of was something about how their worlds were gone. She still had trouble believing it. Wouldn't she remember? Unless Stacy had grabbed them all before it happened...

She looked up at the Gundam for a distraction. As far as distractions went, it was a fairly impressive one. "I don't recognize that one--you know what nation that Gundam's from?" Hey, maybe this gal was even a pilot! She didn't look much like one, but you really could never tell.

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-03 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Celestial whatnow? "You wanna... start over?" AEU, HRL, what did that mean? Was it some kind of code or something? "I've never heard of Celestial Bein' and I don't think it'd be good if someone else just decided to make their own Gundams." If they started screwing around with the Gundam Fight--not that there were colonies. No.

Dammit.

...That other suit looked more like a tank than anything else. A tank made out of cubes. Whoever had made these Gundams, it looked as though they knew what they were doing.

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-04 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Allenby frowned up at the three suits. This obviously wasn't a case like Cagalli, where their two worlds (or planets, or whatever) had just come up with the same name for two similar things. These were Gundams. They had the distinctive V-Crest that marked even the most outlandish designs as a mobile fighter.

"So what do you do in these armed interventions?" she asked. "What are these things armed with, huh?" Allenby didn't think it was just disabling equipment. And what the hell... Gundams had ended war. That was why Gundams were invented, because they were used instead of war! The whole point of a Gundam was that there was no more war!

But she'd wait for the girl's explanation before getting madder. Maybe she just didn't know the whole story.

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-04 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
"Right, and just what do you do to end the fighting?" Allenby wasn't going to let this go, apparently. And the girl had said European Union. "Are you from Earth? 'Cause the Earth I know, we sure don't do that."

She glared at her, wanting to know more. If there was a constant she'd had back home, it had been the Gundam Fight. Everything had revolved around it; that was what she was raised for. And she really hated when people abused their Gundams. (Not that she always followed the rules, but she always had good reasons to ignore them.)

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-04 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. That didn't sound satisfactory to Allenby at all. She didn't like the impassive look on the girl's face either--it would have been better if she got mad too, or something. Not this dispassionate evasion.

But what she said next caught the Fighter off-guard. "What do you mean not my Earth? There's just one of 'em!" Or was, said that nasty thought, but dammit Allenby just couldn't think of it as not there. It was Earth!

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-04 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
Well okay. Maybe that kind of made sense. Allenby was really stretching her definitions of "makes sense" given the fact that she was on a ginormous living spaceship. But she still wasn't satisfied. "Okay, so there are two Earths and yours's got a completely screwed-up idea 'bout how to use Gundams," she said. Diplomacy was something for other people.

"Is one of these fighters yours? Who are you, anyway?"

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-04 02:33 pm (UTC)(link)
...oh. That put a damper on Allenby's idea to challenge--or goad--Feldt into a fight. Not to beat her up, but so she could get what she was talking about with these armed interventions and continuing war on Earth, and to figure out what sort of person Feldt was without having to deal with the blank face and inadequate answers.

"So you wouldn't be a Fighter then, huh." There was definitely disappointment there. "Well, I'm Allenby Beardsley."

[identity profile] nobel-berserker.livejournal.com 2011-01-08 04:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Well she could have at least said something after that. Allenby clenched her fists, reminding herself that it just wouldn't be fair to try and get a fight out of someone who wasn't on an even level with her. That wouldn't be so bad, though, if Allenby didn't have the feeling that Feldt wouldn't rise to the bait no matter what she said. In Allenby's opinion, there was no such thing as just walking away from an argument.

"I'm gonna go find my Nobel Gundam. And you better not go anywhere near her, got it?" She pointed sharply at Feldt. Though she sort of doubted Feldt would be interested in anyone else's Gundams, Allenby wanted that to be said.

Kira, meanwhile, was seated at the base of the Strike Freedom running another remote diagnostic on the mobile suit's systems. He didn't think that the arrival of any of the new suits - most of which he didn't recognize, save the Akatsuki - might have interfered with something, but it never hurt to check.

Footsteps - he looked up to see an unfamiliar girl with pink hair, but it certainly wasn't Lacus. "Ah... can I help you?"
jesushasagundam: (Probably...)

[personal profile] jesushasagundam 2011-01-04 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
Ah. Then she knew the other pilots. "So you know Setsuna and Tieria... are you from their world, then?" There may have been a slightly odd expression on his face. He still wasn't sure what to think of the taciturn pilot.
jesushasagundam: (Optimism)

[personal profile] jesushasagundam 2011-01-04 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Kira Yamato," he offered politely. "...I'm the head of our mobile suit squadron here on the ship." At least, in theory. Her coworkers still hadn't joined up.
jesushasagundam: (Quiet smile)

[personal profile] jesushasagundam 2011-01-04 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, a bridge officer then. "That's good," he gave a small smile. "We could use crew like you." Kira followed her gesture to the three mobile suits. "...and they haven't let anyone else work on them yet, so they'll probably be grateful for that as well."
jesushasagundam: (What's going on?)

[personal profile] jesushasagundam 2011-01-04 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, believe him, Feldt - he did. He'd heard it before. At length.

"It seems they've been doing all the work themselves, so I'm sure they'd be grateful."

Kira paused. "So you're with that organization too? Celestial Being?"
jesushasagundam: (In thought)

[personal profile] jesushasagundam 2011-01-04 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Another pause. "...I understand that. But don't you think that we should all be able to trust each other here? After all, it's not like the organizations we fought for exist anymore - we're on the same side now."
jesushasagundam: (Violet)

[personal profile] jesushasagundam 2011-01-05 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
Violet eyes looked up at her. "Do you really think we can afford to act like that right now? This isn't just another war of humanity..."
jesushasagundam: (Skyward)

[personal profile] jesushasagundam 2011-01-08 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
But they had the Gundams. What were they if not a weapon of war? "It's a nice sentiment," he allowed, "And I wish more people would follow it. But are you saying you won't even fight to survive?"

[identity profile] judau-ashta.livejournal.com 2011-01-05 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
When his time of finding his friends had proven useless, Judau had little choice but to find his own machine: The ZZ Gundam. It didn't much for Judau to realize where mechs had been obviously stored, but the odds were still a bit slim. If the machine wasn't here, then either it had been hidden away, or worse, scrapped for spare parts. The last thing he needed was no way to even fight the supposed threat.

Running inside the hangar, his legs immediately skidded to a stop before the other machines Feldt had been staring at. He knew Gundams when he saw them, but these designs were ones he never witnessed in his life. Briefly, he wondered if AEUG or the Earth Federation may have made these things. Glancing around the hangar some more, there had even more models, in different designs in fact. Just how long had he been out? There was no way either faction he knew could produce this many models so quickly.

"At least they got style," he said to himself. His eyes fell downward at the legs, only to spot Feldt Grace looking at them as well. What luck, a possible fellow pilot maybe? In any case, more answers were just around the corner.

"HEY!" he shouted, hoping to gain her attention as he walked up to her. "Yo, you wouldn't happen to know whose Gundams these are, do ya? Are they with AEUG or the Earth Federation?" His third guess had been Neo Zeon, but he doubted these things were their property. The only Gundams he saw were the Psychos.

[identity profile] judau-ashta.livejournal.com 2011-01-08 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Judau raised an eyebrow at the mention of the other factions. Maybe they were from another world, much like everyone else had in this world, based on some of the strange things he had seen here thus far. Though his idea of finding people from his own world had been shot down again, the thought of different Gundams in other worlds did earn his interest.

"Which one do these things belong to then?" he asked.
