On the 9th day of Christmas ... [For Nanoha cast, but open, really]

Hayate, Vivio and Zwei had a, shall we say, lackluster Christmas with all their friends and family gone. And today, after New Year's Day was over with, Hayate had one thing set in mind as she called all her friends and family to get together:

You owed her (and Vivio especially) one Christmas.

So here she was on the WITCH Bus with some past due Christmas cakes a little fake tree that was as of yet undecorated but next to a box of ornaments.

Party. Now. Your (former) boss demands it. She also demands you were the santa girl outfits. No, seriously, she's handing them to you as you enter the door. "Zwei and I were hoping you get here sooner, but whatever, we had these prepared for ya."

There's a curtain to change behind. Hayate is pointing to it.

((Yes, there's one for you too Signum. Hayate and Zwei may have pulled an all nighter. Arf, you're a reindeer. The children have elf costumes.))

Signum is holding the Santa costume and standing, rather than heading immediately behind the curtain. This is a little much for her second day here, even if it was bizarrely familiar in its own way.

Zwei was sprawled across a table in full size, her head resting against it as she clutched a cup of life-giving coffee in her hands. She looked exhausted but she was so totally adorable in her santa outfit which EXPANDED with her transformations.

That was important after all.

"Soooo tired," groaned Rein. "I feel like I went twenty rounds with Kazami-kun..."

She did not mean for that last part to slip out. Innuendo, you have the floor.

Einhart... just stared at the elf costume. That she was somehow wearing now. How did that happen? Because she seriously wanted to know.

Nanoha paused, looking down at the garment Hayate had handed her. Oh, it was a santa-girl outfit all right, but...

"Hayate-chan, don't you think it's a bit small?"

It was easy to see that Hayate was trying to fix the problem of the missing friends and family on Christmas, especially seeing as poor Vivio had to suffer missing another Christmas due to this ship's ways.

However, she didn't expect to be donning an elf's costume to help celebrate it. Of course, she should have, given that it's Hayate's idea.

"Um... d-does this look okay, Hayate?" Vivio asked

Fate wanted to protest. Really, she did. It's not like she wanted to miss Christmas... who knew the whole Fairplay mess was going to happen? But this was Hayate, so any protests she had would fall on deaf ears.

"Geez... you could've at least made the skirt a little longer."

For Reinforce Christmas was less about the Earth holiday than it was an anniversary of sorts for herself, but she wanted to share that time with Hayate so she inevitably ended up celebrating that as well. But if she had to say Hayate seemed to take a great deal more pride and interest in decorating her family than a tree or any other such typical activity.

Case in point: this 'Santa' costume she'd been given. It was hardly the least modest costume Hayate or Zwei had ever provided her, but she wasn't sure what to make of the use of a costume associated with a merry old elf to flatter the legs of young women. And it bothered that functionality-focused part of her that such a short skirt had such a warm-looking fur-trimmed hem, up where it didn't do anything.



The things she did for the meister. The device stepped out from behind the curtain and presented herself to Hayate for... review. Or something like that. "Is this to your liking?"

The colors did suit her, though. Red and silver...

Arf stared at the reindeer costume for a while, appraising it thoroughly. She particularly liked the horns, those were her favorite part. Hm, could she integrate horns into her wolf form somehow? She'd have to give that some though.

"This is cute!" she finally decided, looking at it happily. "Thanks~"

"...W-what is this outfit..." Vita mumbled, looking at the outfit. Really...what...was that?

She poked it with Graf Eisen.

"...Hayate...? What is the meaning of this...?"
