The Sinking Feeling You Get When You Eat Magic Food

Welcome meatship crewmembers to the instrument of pure silly.

It had been a long period of waiting, but a prank was about to be issued after these dire dark times. As such, tables were set up around the WITCH Bus and other locations, unmanned stands where Lemonade and Brownies were available with the compliments of your friendly companions.

Do you dare risk chocolately goodness or sour-sweetness to discover it's dark delicious secrets?

(ooc: tag around, bug others and feel free to continue to madness. IC duration is about a day. Unless you deliberately take more with you. As a reminder, Lemonade brings you up ages to a good looking adultish level. Brownies turn you into kids. GO NUTS. Refer to the ooc post for details and ask questions there.)

Alex slid off the penguin he had been riding and went siding into a snow drift, laughing. He pulled himself out of the snow drift, smiling, "Th-that was actually r-really fun!"

Katara grinned. "I always loved doing this when I was a kid! I was just glad that I got to share it with you too, and that you enjoyed it."

She helped him dust off the snow. "Is there anything that you'd like to do?"

"I-if... maybe we could, d-do that again, I'd r-really like that!" He was still smiling, digging his booted toe into the snow.

"Really?" He wanted to do it again? Great! Well, this time she figured she ought to have him with her, and picked a larger penguin this time. She had Alex sit behind her and, making sure they weren't too, heavy, had him wrap his arms around her waist. THIS one would be a lot faster.

"Hold on tight!" She said, and off they went!

Alex didn't need to be told twice to hold on tight. He peaked around Katara's back and laughed a bit as they started heading down the slope. As they gained speed Alex squeezed tighter and pressed closer to Katara. It was terrifying, but at the same time exhilarating, though this was getting to be a bit too fast for him.

Katara could sense that Alex was getting a little scared by the tightness around her and nodded. She brought her other hand out a little and the snow started to slow their descent rather than speed them up. She did this slowly of course: trying to stop them immediately would have resulted in them crashing pretty hard into the snow. Once they reached a stop though, Katara got out and helped Alex out.

She was far from done playing with her friend though.

"Wanna build s snowman now?" She asked, grinning.

He brightened up, "yes!" Making snowmen and snowball fights were two of his favourite winter pass times. It wasn't something he even thought of doing yet on the ship.

"Well come on then!" Katara laughed, snd she started gathering the snow up. "I'll start on the body, you get the head, and then we can both look for stuff for the face, okay?"

And with that, Katara started to roll up the torso.

Alex started packing some snow into a sort of crude sphere, and then began rolling it, "S-so... was your home like this?"

Katara nodded, packing in more snow so the big circular sphere was round on all sides. "My home was always like this, yes. It used to be much bigger too, but we had to deal with the fire nation raiders. They severely reduced all of the people in the South Pole. Still, we do know how to have our fun times."

She smiled, then turned to Alex. "How are you doing?"

Alex was a little sorry to have asked, but if she wasn't going to dwell on it, neither was he. As he worked on smoothing the edges he said, "Almost d-done!"

Katara was much more tolerant of it now: it was something that happened because of certain things within the Fire Nation. She couldn't blame them for that anymore than she could blame Stacy for bringing her on the ship.

She smiled, then looked around for twigs and things for the top of the head.
