The Sinking Feeling You Get When You Eat Magic Food

Welcome meatship crewmembers to the instrument of pure silly.

It had been a long period of waiting, but a prank was about to be issued after these dire dark times. As such, tables were set up around the WITCH Bus and other locations, unmanned stands where Lemonade and Brownies were available with the compliments of your friendly companions.

Do you dare risk chocolately goodness or sour-sweetness to discover it's dark delicious secrets?

(ooc: tag around, bug others and feel free to continue to madness. IC duration is about a day. Unless you deliberately take more with you. As a reminder, Lemonade brings you up ages to a good looking adultish level. Brownies turn you into kids. GO NUTS. Refer to the ooc post for details and ask questions there.)

"Aye," Jamie agrees. "I think that's more due to the fact that Stacy's not been able to wake everyone up the way she wanted to. There's probably just as many non-humans here, but they're still asleep."

He hesitates for a moment at the question, trying to figure out how exactly he wants to put things. The Doctor's not awake to elbow him to get him to shut up about it, but...maybe it's better to not go into too much detail right now. "It's the...er, name of the ship we traveled on. That is, the Doctor, Zoe and I. The Doctor was awake for awhile, but had to go back to the pods."

And he's not human, either, but Jamie leaves that part out.

Tavros is the sort to take things at face value, and Jamie sure looks human to him! He nods as Jamie talks.

"Yeah, um, I keep hearing, from people on the ship, that my friends and lusus and, um, everybody, are in some sort of... storage, down in the pods someplace. Or something like that."

Slight pause.

"I'm sorry, that you lost your doctor and ship. But there are, uh, other medical staff on board, right? And Stacy's not so bad."

Oh, Jamie is quite human. The Doctor, on the other hand, is not. If the Time Lord ever wakes up again, Tavros may find that out for himself - if it's an incarnation that's willing to admit it. Or if Alex actually knows and mentions it, but Jamie's not sure if Alex would or not. "I'd not call it storage, but...aye. They likely are. The Daligig said they saved as many loved ones as they could."

Whether or not that's the truth...who knows? Jamie seems to believe it, however. "Oh, the Doctor's what he calls himself. He knows a wee bit about medicine, but he's not a doctor like the way ye are thinking."

He shifts to gripping the kilt with the other hand - the one he's using is cramping a little, and he should maybe figure out something to do with that soon. "The TARDIS may still be around here, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to find it now. It's not my ship, it's his." So if he's asleep again, she might have very well put it wherever she puts the possessions of the people who aren't awake. "I should check that...maybe once this has worn off. I'd not care to try and find my way around the hangar right now."

Ahhh. Reading comprehension. I should get some at some point. Anyway Tavros nods at Jamie's words. He has no idea who might be down there, but he hopes he's not the only troll. That'd be awful. He may not get along with a lot of the trolls he knows, but he's not the type to want them dead.

"Ohh, okay. But, why does he, call himself a doctor, then? And, I guess, good luck finding your TARDIS. I don't think, it's be easy to hide a whole ship, though."

He glances at the kilt as Jamie switches hands, but trolls wear stranger things than that sometimes. A dude in a skirt isn't so outlandish after you've met this guy (http://mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004308).

Or I could have been clearer. Sorry about that. :)

"It's...um." Honestly, Jamie really has no clue why he does, but simply saying that isn't much good as an explanation. "Well, ye can be a Doctor of other things," he comes up with, after a few seconds. "Not just medicine."

There's a wry smile from Jamie at the mention of hiding a whole ship. The TARDIS is rather smaller than you would think...or, at least, appears to be on the outside. "You'd be surprised," he says dryly.

As would be Jamie, if he saw that other particular troll. The flying seahorse alone would be cause for some staring. It occurs to him, however, despite what he said, he could still go search for the TARDIS - he just doesn't want to right now. On the other hand, Tavros seems to be a wee bit stuck in his current form. Maybe he should help him out, if the grub wants the assistance.

"Anyway, like I said, I'll worry about it later. What about ye? Did ye need to be anywhere?"

No prob, I have a bad habit of misreading anyway. Derp!

"Ohh," Tavros nods. Sure, there were trolls who arbitrarily gave themselves titles all the time. Silly of him to assume humans didn't do that too.

At Jamie's offer, he gives the best equivalent of a shrug possible when you do not, technically, have shoulders anymore. "Not unless, um, there's someone handing out a cure, I guess. This curse, or whatever, will wear off, right? Do you think?"

"With the way things keep going wrong on Stacy, I'd not be surprised if we were stuck like this," Jamie says, giving into a momentary fit of pessimism. There's a pause as he realizes that it's likely not what someone else would want to hear, so he adds, "Maybe it'll wear off, though."

He doesn't sound entirely convinced that'll be the case, but it is what it is. "Either way, not too much we can do about it, right now. I just thought ye might want to go do something else while we're waiting to see if it does."
