The Sinking Feeling You Get When You Eat Magic Food
Welcome meatship crewmembers to the instrument of pure silly.
It had been a long period of waiting, but a prank was about to be issued after these dire dark times. As such, tables were set up around the WITCH Bus and other locations, unmanned stands where Lemonade and Brownies were available with the compliments of your friendly companions.
Do you dare risk chocolately goodness or sour-sweetness to discover it's dark delicious secrets?
(ooc: tag around, bug others and feel free to continue to madness. IC duration is about a day. Unless you deliberately take more with you. As a reminder, Lemonade brings you up ages to a good looking adultish level. Brownies turn you into kids. GO NUTS. Refer to the ooc post for details and ask questions there.)

After a moment of though, Kaylee grabbed Dean's hand and started dragging him toward the Sensoriums. "C'mon, we're gonna go play." Because, even though their minds were still completely adult, Dean needed an excuse to be a kid, at least for a little while.

"But-but hey, we don't know who's doing the spell. We gotta change back," he protested, shuffling his feet along as they walked. Still playing really did sound like fun.

If he didn't stop shuffling his feet she was going to get behind him and push him to the gorram Sensoriums.

Dean then gave a dramatic sigh, but stopped dragging his feet. He seemed to consider something for a moment, and then let go her hand. A moment later though, he patted her on the shoulder.
"Fine, you're it!" And he took off down the hall toward the Sensoriums.

"H-hey--"
Oh gorrammit. Doing her best to avoid tripping over her coveralls, Kaylee took off down the hall after Dean.

And then she spotted the contents of the salvage yard and found herself completely distracted. She rolled off of Dean and ran to the closest car. "Best playground I ever saw..."
no subject
"Sammy and I played here sometimes, it's AWESOME." He beckoned to her to point out some of the cars
no subject
"Looks that way." Kaylee was distracted for a moment with that first car, all but crawling under the hood to get a better look, but as soon as Dean started pointing out better specimens she jumped back out and followed behind him.

"Man, that Volkswagon ain't much, come on, there was this Camaro that needed some TLC. If Dad hadn't given me the Impala I might have saw about fixing it up."
no subject
"I'd've been in a place like this all the time, I think." She kind of was, for work back home. One salvage yard after another trying to find parts, make a fake ambulance, etc etc etc. Wonderful little life of crime they had.
no subject
"Knew she needed a lot of work, and tried to fiddle with her at times. But Impala's always gonna be the first."
no subject
"Just like Serenity will be," she agreed, running her hands over the hood before popping it open. Not the best looking innards in town, but she could work with them. "Anythin' after the first is kinda like that extra candy you get at Christmas once presents're done."
no subject
"Yeah, hadn't seen this one in recent years there. How much work your girl needed at first?"
no subject
Any other details of her employment she skipped. Dean really didn't need to hear about Bester.
no subject
"Sounds like first guy knew two things. Jack and Squat."
no subject
"Basically, yeah. Don't know how he managed to get the job in the first place, but he did. S'pose I'm grateful to him for it, though. If it'd been anybody more qualified I might not've gotten the chance to show my stuff."
no subject
He checked the fanbelt, and then grinned at her, "Ah they knew a good thing when they saw. Would have been crazy not to take ya aboard."
no subject
She can't help but grin back, proud as proud can be. "Considerin' what Bester knew? Even I'd say it was a hundred-percent in-the-right trade off."
no subject
"You wanna play hide and seek?"
no subject
"You wanna count, or should I?"
no subject
"You hide, I'll count."
no subject
She waited until he covered his eyes and started counting, then quietly tiptoed away. When she was sure he couldn't hear, Kaylee took off running until she found a suitable looking hiding spot, which turned out to be underneath one of the cars. Not too hard for him to find, and open enough that she could run if need be.

And second now...
