Welcome meatship crewmembers to the instrument of pure silly.

It had been a long period of waiting, but a prank was about to be issued after these dire dark times. As such, tables were set up around the WITCH Bus and other locations, unmanned stands where Lemonade and Brownies were available with the compliments of your friendly companions.

Do you dare risk chocolately goodness or sour-sweetness to discover it's dark delicious secrets?

"H-Hey, let go! This is serious, Nanoha!" Fate said, flailing a little as Nanoha hugged her. "Someone's drugging food. We need to track them down!"

Yes, that's it. Try and fail to take her attention away from you, Fate.

"Right, right," Nanoha nodded in agreement - really, she knew that Fate had a point - "We'll find them, don't worry!"

"But..." she pulled back just a little bit, a sheepish sort of expression on her face. "S-sorry, Fate-chan. It's just that you're really cute like this."

"It's okay..." Fate blushed a little. "To be honest, I think I probably would've reacted the same way if our positions were switched."

"Mm, maybe. If you didn't just rush ahead and adopt me," Nanoha teased gently, reaching out to ruffle the little Fate's blonde hair.

"I think you're shorter than Vivio, actually..."

"Maybe I--- hey!" Oh, she caught that jab, Nanoha! "What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means that you've never been able to resist helping a cute little kid in distress, silly," the mage's hand trailed down to poke the girl in the nose playfully. "You don't think I haven't noticed, right?"

She pouted as Nanoha poked her. Seriously, Nanoha, can you resist this face?

"You don't have to tease me about it. You can't tell me you'd be able to resist kids like that."

After all, who was the person Vivio latched onto first?

Nope, she really couldn't. "No, no, I suppose I can't," she admitted. "But that doesn't mean you don't do it."

She leaned in to give the blonde a kiss on the forehead. ...their usual kisses would be a bit strange when Fate was like this. "...we should probably start trying to find whoever put that out, huh."

... Yeah, that would definitely be pretty awkward if Nanoha tried to kiss her like that. Still, that thought didn't stop her smiling and blushing.

"R-Right. It might be someone in the City, if it was set up here..."

"Hmm. Probably," she said thoughtfully. "And in the magic department, only a few people have the sort of magic that you'd need to make something like this work."

"Do you think you'd be able to check to see who can pull something like this off?" Fate asked. "I'll help you, if you need it."

"Reinforce-chan and I have been working on writing up everyone's skills in detail," Nanoha nodded. "We can check the paperwork in my office."

And so, she moved... and bodily picked you up, Fate. Yes, she was planning on flying with you in her arms.

"Hey, what are you doing!?" And Fate's going to flail in protest at that! Not that she didn't like being in Nanoha's arms, but this was totally different. "G-Geez, Nanoha, I can fly on my own..."

Nanoha couldn't help but giggle. "Come on, Fate-chan! When am I going to get another chance to be the one who picks you up?"

"... Fine, fine." And even though she grumbled and blushed, she settled more comfortably in Nanoha's arms.

"Let's go, then."

Yes, Fate. This is what happens when you're that much taller than your girlfriend. She's going to take advantage of the fact that she's taller than you for once.

She took off into the sky, making sure to hold Fate comfortably beneath her, as they made their way to the Jedi temple.
