It was...brutal.
Ruffnut and her brother had often imagined violent brutal battles, blood and screams filling the air as they, the mighty Thorston twins.
But after watching the "Punishment"...Ruffnut was lost.
Somehow her feet led her back to the Sensoriums where the isle of Berk was waiting for her.
Familiar paths wound through the town to the fields. Sheep grazed mindlessly as she flopped down under a tree.
"What's your problem?" the simulation of her brother peered down at her with his crooked smile. A mane of hair fell about him blocking out the moonlight. The stars shimmered above him in a perfectly annoying fashion.
"Shut up." She responded with a halfhearted punch to his face.
"That was pathetic." He laughed stumbling back, "What's wrong? Baby gonna cry?"
Ruffnut could barely muster up the energy to kick him in the knee sending him tumbling down the hill, "I'm hurt! I am badly hurt." He wailed.

Her having that helmet, of course, made that headbutt a bit of a curse too, hence the cut on her head. It was REALLY a good thing her dad trained the shit out of her.

As twin trails of blood ran down her face she breathed through her mouth. She grinned as the blood trickled over her lips onto her teeth and let out a roar rushing at Hit girl again aiming for sharp punches to the girls sides.
But despite the fury in her roar her eyes were unfocused, a sign that Hitgirls strikes were effecting Ruff.

So at the next charge, the attempt to get at her sides was stopped short by a quick dropkick straight to the taller girl's chest. The broken nose would be one weak point: leaving herself exposed for that reason would be the other.

Zetta had at last decided to pay attention to the status screens.

But as the force pulled on her to launch her away from Hitgirl her fingers grasped at the girls outfit trying to pull her along and send them both crashing to the grass.

"Damn," she muttered. "Okay. Fistfight then, between us girls?"
She almost LEERED at Zetta with her expression.

"Ought to make you fight ME," he added in another grumble.

She grinned at Ruffbut. "You up to it, or is this all you got?"

...this could take awhile.

Zetta couldn't help but like these girls. Even if Hit Girl did have that pesky trend towards heroism. He bet if she got strong enough, he could work that out of her.

She stretched herself a moment, then stalked toward Ruffnut, her hands apart, her legs bent and coiled to strike. She finally stepped toward Ruffnut, left arm to her chest and her other going for a direct hit to Ruffnut's chest.

It hit her nose just hard enough to break it, and Hit Girl swore, spitting blood out. Shit, did that hurt. She shook her head, grinning.
"Ok. Now I'll get serious."
no subject
"No holding back, either of you! You want to fight, then fight like you mean it!"
Of course, he hadn't unInvited his healer -- just in case Ruffnut did, accidentally or on purpose, lightning-punch one or both of them closer to death than Zetta was comfortable with.

And alot of fun too~

But she wouldn't stop either, landing a decent uppercut and moving back, still feeling a little dazed.

It was sound advice, if possibly delivered in a useless way at the entirely wrong time.

She brought her hands up high rushing forward with every intention on delivering a double fisted blow to the top of Hitgirl's head. She thought she was about to win so she was going for the haymaker.

Ducking under the hot to head was easy enough: landing three devastating punches in the breadbasket on the other hand was a big harder, but manageable. And that was just what Hitgirl did.
Unless you had a sixpack, and likely even then, hits in the stomach left you pretty winded.

Still, he wasn't disappointed even as the outcome turned against his apprentice. She'd learn from it. Get back up and try again.
Sometimes he could almost be grateful that things had fallen out as they did.

She lay in the grass breathing heavily as her vision re focused and her mind began to settle again. She'd need a few minutes.

"You were really good," she commented. "We were probably trained differently when it comes to fist fighting. I was trained to go for the kill, like, all the time, but mostly with weapons. This was new for me. Thanks."
She stretched, wincing at the wound on her cheek. "Hey, wanna hit the bar after this?"

More neutrally, he said, "You both have good moves, you just need a lot more overwhelming force."
