Punishment [Warning: Graphic Imagery]

As the ship was going about its normal business of the day, everything is interrupted when Stacy broadcasts a message to the crew.

||Attention, crew. Your crew mate, Big Zero, has acquired 15 Violations. Therefore, she will now be given Punishment. According to the guidelines in place for Punishment, you are hereby requested to report to the Observation Deck to view the procedure. Though it is not mandatory, it is suggested you attend anyway.||

||It will serve as a reminder that there are consequences to breaking the rules.||

For those brave souls who decide to attend, they'd find Big Zero strung up, dangling from the ceiling of the Obs Deck by her hands, surrounded by a spherical force field.

It was to prevent anyone from...interfering.

Alex didn't know what to expect. He didn't really want to go, but at the same time, he wanted to have some idea what the ship was capable of.

Seeing the strange woman tied up like that though... He knew what was going to come next was going to be too much. Between the uneasy shadows in the audience, and what would definitely become an even larger shadow around Big Zero he began backing up slowly.

He needed to get out of there.

He was a little surprised to see that particular familiar face in the crowd. Alex was never a fan of violence; Tavros understood why after a certain trip to the sensoriums. This whole strange "parent taking bad child to task" vibe was probably not something Alex needed to see.

He moves closer as he sees Alex about to abscond.

"Hey, um... you can go, if you want, and then, maybe, if it's not too bad, I could tell you what happens later."

He went white at being addressed and jumped to face Tavros. "I'm... g-getting th-the f-feeling th-that... th-that m-maybe I d-don' w-wanna know a-any of it a-after all..." He turned away from Tavros and the spectacle. "The d-damn sh-ship's g-gonna hurt h-her... is h-hurting her. I... I d-didn't th-think i-it'd be like this..."

What had he expected? Jail time? Something like that was like nothing, especially for 15 violations. He knew it had to be something pretty bad that she had done. He had only gotten three for attacking his friends, and they weren't even hurt for too long- not to mention one was for trying to get into the pod caverns.

Yeah, Alex is definitely not going to want to see this. Neither does he, but he wants to know what the ship's capable of, what sort of consequences they can expect when they finally make her mad.

"Yeah, um. So, you should probably go, in all honesty. I'll catch up later, okay."

How could anyone actually want to stay to see this sort of thing? How could Tavros want to stay to see that sort of thing?

He gritted his teeth, "sure, wh-whatever." He glanced back at Tavros, his irritation breaking a little for a sort of pleading look back to him.

What sort of thing? Tavros doesn't know any better than Alex what's about to take place here. He's already turned back to look at Big Zero and thus misses Alex's glance.

His body language doesn't suggest at all that he's looking forward to this, or even that he wants to stick around. But he's obviously going to.

He sighed and left.

Tavros staying to watch surprised him about as much as Mikel's suggestion that they begin to carry guns. The suggestion that had been rapidly shot down. He had expected more from them.
