A Commander's work is never done
Nathan had finally slogged through the latest backlog about the virus, and the Council's recent decisions. He wasn't entirely surprised about clones, it was a questionable topic back home, and it made him wonder if Primatech would ever have tried such actions. He really wouldn't have been surprised if there was an attempt.
The matter of the Yeerks, he was decidedly mixed on. He could still remember what happened with the attack from the previous Sam Winchester, and the trial. But the law felt they had their rights as well, and he wasn't about to argue on the idea. And this particular one did do much to ensure the casualty count wasn't higher.
He sent out a notice of welcome to the newer crew members, with an offer to stop by his office with any questions and concerns.
Though after his office hours, he stepped out of his office in the city, rocking back and forth on his heels. He then tensed and shot into the sky overhead with a sounding boom across the buildings as he took flight overhead again.
(ooc: Catch him in his office or flying over the city.)

/flying over the city
Or he was, before some guy (dude, was that Nathan Petrilli?) zoomed past him. Then he was an osprey spinning wildly through the air, thanks to Nathan's turbulence.
<Aaaaaaaaaah!> he yelled in thought-speak.

And with Iniss now aware that he and the others could morph...well. He still didn't like letting people know about it, but it wasn't the extreme imperative it was before. <Have you ever heard of 'looking where you're flying'?! You know maybe you should try it sometime!>

"Sorry, usually when I run into some one up here, they're a good deal bigger." Plus it's hard to see when your flying speed is comparable to a jet engine.

The amusement in Marco's voice suggest that he doesn't actually resent that, however. (Well. If he were human, he would. Just a little.)

<So. How's life as The Big Man? Or, to be more accurate, how's life as the The Man Who Is Nearly The Big Man?>

<Oh, same old same old. Fly around. Nearly get blown out of the sky by crazy flying man. Cruise for chicks. The usual.>

The sonic boom got her attention, though, and sent her in that direction. Which just happened to cross Nathan's flight path. "Afternoon, Commander," she said politely.
Apparently the fact that he could FLY didn't phase her much.

"Afternoon, and it's Angie right?" Oh yes, he's seen her around, but they hadn't really spoken for long. A pity really.

"Yeah, thought the office was getting a little stuffy and confining."
no subject
Not that she ever DOES. Not fully, at least.

"I well, took me a while to accept these abilities. Got easier being aboard here and everybody so ..." Glancing over at her, "open and welcoming with their gifts."

Okay, technically she sort of had a boyfriend, which was probably a reason. But Jack wasn't there and, last she remembered, they were heading for 'off' anyway.

"Especially when the beautiful woman knows how to give as much as she gets back."

Right now he's seen enough that he didn't mind the metal at all.

"So, have to run back to the lab any time soon? Or like to fly a bit longer, maybe have some dinner later?"

Angie gave new meaning to the word 'workaholic'. "Sure. Dinner would be nice. Even if it's just the Sensorium." At least there it didn't taste like slop.
