[back in black]
The chute opened seamlessly out of the wall and deposited the man on the squishy floor of the corridor with an ungraceful thud. The man stood, brushing at his clothes as he did, an oddly human gesture he had picked up from Sam and Dean. His face, as he stared at the featureless wall the chute had disappeared back into, was blank, expressionless, his jaw covered with a dark fuzz. He reached up to touch this unfamiliar roughness as he stared consideringly at the wall.
"Jack-hole," he finally said.
Hey, Cas was trying, okay? It wasn't his fault if human cussing was still a little beyond him.
With that, Cas turned, making his way through the corridors of Stacy, heading towards hydroponics.
After his long stay with GLaDOS, he needed a drink.
[Cas makes his return! Feel free to run into him in the corridors, or to meet him at the beer tree, just specify the location in your tag :3]

BEER TREE
Eventually, he'd found Hydroponics. Which had the organic feel - hell, there were trees here - and also had a beer tree.
Gabriel maintained in his head that he could have done it better, and with higher quality alcohol, but the thing was still pretty sweet.
He still hasn't obtained any new clothing, so he's simply lounging around in his plantsuit (which he doesn't really hate, he just likes his human clothes better, but damn if he's been able or willing to find them), drinking one of the beers.
However, the guy who has just entered and is headed this way... Gabriel raises his eyebrows.
"Castiel?"

"Gabriel?"
Cas stared at his older brother, expression blank. "... You're alive?"
It was impossible to tell by looking at him how Castiel felt about this news.

Not that he wasn't genuinely worried about Castiel, after facing off with Lucifer, but there was no need to let him know that.
"That'd be me, in the flesh," he says, picking at a sleeve. "Unfortunately. And I'm certainly not a zombie or a spirit, so I'd say I'm alive," he continues on, looking at Castiel.
"Dean said you were stuck in a maze?"

Gabriel curses a minor Egyptian goddess and then shakes his head, straightening and arching an eyebrow at Castiel.
"I probably deserved that, but you don't wanna do it again."

He's frowning at Gabriel now though, not distracted from the important thing here. His punch actually landed, which means "..... You're human. .... How?"

When he spots Dean, though, his expression lights up into one of mischief.
"Deano!" he calls.

Oh great, it's Chuckles the dick angel. Sorry, the dick ex-angel now.
And he's there with... Cas?!
"I interrupt a family reunion or something?"
no subject
Gabriel makes a clicking noise, something that sounds like a 'tut'.
"No, no, nothing quite as dramatic as that." The red spot on his cheek from Castiel's fist says otherwise, however. "Just catching up."

HALLWAY
She should have looked up as she went around the corner, but things had been so clear thus far that it didn't cross her mind until she heard a familiar-sounding, "Jack-hole," and crashed right into someone. Apologies were the quick and routine normal ones until she actually looked to see who she'd tried to knock over. Sorries stopped altogether.
"Castiel!! Finally get yourself out of the maze?? Just got out not so long ago myself. Gorram computer..."
no subject
"Hello, Kaylee," he said after a moment. He paused to consider her words. "Yes," he agreed. "I ... just got out." Again he touched the beard on his face. "It appears I was held captive by that infernal computer for ... a while." He stared at the blank space where the exit had been. Cas had missed the revelation about GLaDOS' purpose, having already been her captive. He frowned. "There was no cake."
no subject
Given the distracted air of the Engineering Department the last few days...weeks...Kaylee had at least gotten past the point of knocking people over altogether. Her focus goes from her balance to his beard pretty quickly, though.
"Now lookit that. Never expected to see any form of facial hair on you. Looks nice 'n rugged." It's a compliment, Castiel. Promise.

Hallway~
The curse made him shake his head, and he chuckled, "Jack-hole? I'm surprised you haven't picked up better curses than that what with all the time you spend with Dean."
no subject
He frowned at Kang's words. "Dean refuses to assist me, he seems to find my attempts to curse ... amusing."
no subject
He glanced at the wall where the chute (and Castiel) had appeared, "GLaDOS could at least let people go in a more dignified way than dumping them in a random hallway."
no subject
He looks at the chute as well, and shrugs. "Nothing about being human is dignified to me, so it doesn't matter from my perspective."

"Hh'as-tiel," she said. "Good to see you walking around again. I think Ssam and D'hean were getting worried, no matter what they say."

She was happy to see him again too. The Whisperer was a difficult Power to carry in the back of one's mind. It helped to sometimes have her kin, close-by. "This podpop brought more Powers to this ship. As if there weren't a glut of you already," she said. The Whisperer chuckled dryly in the back of her mind. "I think he's from your world."
no subject
"More powers?" he questioned. "From my world?" Cas frowned. "You mean, others like me? Or different?"
no subject
If she had to pick a Power to awaken on the ship, it wouldn't have been this one by a long shot.
