Back to Work [Open]
With the virus taken care of and things starting to calm back down, it seemed like a perfect opportunity for Lowe to get back to work.
By "work" meaning "fiddling with the various stuff in the Hangar". It always amazed him what new stuff appeared on-board from time to time. No sooner did he have the chance to look over the new ZAKUs and Windams did the new Mobile Suits - the ones known as Exia, "Double-Oh" and Deathscythe Hell (he'd admit it, it felt weird calling them "Gundams", especially since that's usually an OS) appeared. He'd have to wait to check them out - he didn't want their pilots to have a hissy fit.
Right now, he wanted to do another check over of the Serenity. Mostly to keep a promise he made to Kaylee, despite her feeling better. He patted the leg of the Astray Red Frame as he passed it, reaching the craft.
Hopefully one last go wouldn't hurt, right?

"That is a BIG sword," commented the Tauren.

"It's big and it's pretty useful!" he said. "I've been finding out a lot about that sword and what it can do. Hopefully, if we can get everything modified, I won't have to worry about draining my engine for it."
The Tactical Arms IIL did help Lowe battling the Ohm. Now, he'd have to figure out how to do so without draining the batteries of either his sword or his unit.

"It has joints, doesn't it? What're they for?"

[Of course!] 8 spoke as it brought up a diagram of the weapon and showing off some of its forms. [That sword, the Tactical Arms, has many functions. So far, we've found out it can be used as a gigantic sword, an extra flight back, a beam bow launcher and a solar sail of sorts. Of course, a lot of this technology is a few years ahead of us, so we're still finding out what else it can do!]
"As well, the thing also belongs to a guy I know, so I have no clue how I came to possess it. Again, though, future stuff." Lowe said.

"...Oh I just had an awesome idea. I mean it's kinda derivative, but...Basically a something with those functions, but it's weapon forms are and axe and beam-rifle. For whenever they let me have a ZAKU to customize, y'know? Is it alright if I borrow some of those diagrams to see what kinda tech is involved?"

"I don't see why not! Frankly, the more help we can get fighting these things, the better! 8, would you mind?" he said.
[Coming right up!] 8 chirped. [The files should be on your omnicomm. Hopefully, they'll be useful for what you need!]

"How is your training coming along?"

"Make sure you keep it up during your free time, as well. So next time we meet up in the Sensoriums for our next training phases, you're still sharp on the other ones."
Yzak didn't want to be pushy, but it was required that the squadron's members stayed fresh-minded. It wasn't quite like the ZAFT military academy for the obvious reasons-- no large amount of teachers and groups and classes of to-be pilots and bridge crew, so no hardcore training and strict schedules. Despite this, though, Yzak didn't want to skimp on what he could do.

The cargo bay doors were open, and the ramp was down. Taking a break from reorganizing the ship, Kaylee had set up her lawn chair and was currently shifting through specs for Stacy's engines.

"Kaylee! Good to see you again! Feeling better this time?" Lowe asked, approaching.
no subject
"Heeey Lowe. Feelin' a whole lot better, yeah. Sorry 'bout the other day...."

He couldn't help but notice what Kaylee was looking. "Whuzzat?"

She held up the tablet in her hand. "Engines, of the Stacy variety. Been workin' on 'em since I popped, almost. Got a lot of ship to cover."
