Office Hours [Open]

Sometimes it was one thing after another with this crew. Other times, it was several things at once, as evidenced by the most recent series of events.

But Leon had to handle all of it. He was in the big chair now, literally in this case. He was in the Captain's Office, located just off the main bridge. It was fairly sparsely decorated, but had one hell of a view of the Bleed.

Not that Leon was taking too much time to enjoy it, he had a lot of work to do.

"Really, now?" His grin widened, almost despite himself.

"And how would you do that?" Granted, she had his full attention by now, as she normally did whenever she was around him. He couldn't get back to work now if he wanted to, and he definitely didn't want to.

"Well I could just break the datapad you're using," she replied a little off-handedly, before rolling her shoulders back and straightening up. "But that's not really what I had in mind. Today, anyway."

She didn't stop smiling as she stood up and made her way around the desk, fingers trailing along the surface until she reached Leon. For all her general cluelessness about dating, at times, she'd gotten very good at flirting. With Leon, anyway. It was practically effortless. Without waiting for an invite she straddled his legs and sat down, leaning forward to kiss him.

Well, that was definitely an effective way of distracting him. Though, while kissing her, he reached for something at his desk. It wasn't anything work related, however, just a button that would let him lock the door from there.

This was one of those times he didn't want to be interrupted for a while.

Claire felt him reaching, which obviously caused her to break away and look back over her shoulder at what he was doing. She half frowned, looking back at him, not really able to get a good look at what he was reaching for from her current position.

"What're you doing?"

"Locking the door," he told her, then kissed that little frown of hers. "Unless you want to risk being interrupted by more work...?"

Her frown disappeared when he kissed her, and she smiled again.

"Definitely not," she replied, leaning in to kiss him again briefly. "Although, what makes you think something is going to happen that requires locked doors?" Now who's the one getting teased?

He grinned at her, the kind of grin that said 'You are an evil, evil woman, Claire.'

"Let's just call it a hunch," he told her, tightening his arms around her, and kissing her again. "Us cop types tend to have those."
