Winter Clarity[Open]
The airfield was usually Steve's conjured fantasy, and not Miku's. And while he was still skittish to the idea of entering it, that didn't mean Miku had to keep away. So, instead of fall grasses or summertime, the airfield was plunged into deep winter.
She sat at on a snowbank, making snow bunnies. Her breath left white puffs in the air as she worked to smooth out the snow, and she'd long since pushed her red hood back from her face to keep it out of her way. Satisfied with the little family of snow bunnies, Miku nodded to herself and wandered further into the field.
She'd only gone about six steps when suddenly she sank into the snow to her waist. "Oh! Hey!" She tried to pull herself up, but having the physical strength of a piece of straw, gave up quickly and fell back against the side of the hole she'd fallen into with a sigh
Well, maybe she'd just sit here for a few minutes.

She then walked over when she saw the figure lying in it.
"Hey, you ok?"
no subject
Well, not think. She was stuck.
no subject
"I'll dig you out." She now had warm gloves and a coat so she started pawing and digging at the snow.

Until he notice a hole in the snow. With some poor lady stuck in it up to her waist. He trots over, peering at her, and then waves. "Hi! Um. Do you need some help?" Because this little kid will totally pull you out, Miku.
no subject
Which was good, because her legs were starting to feel like two skinny icicles. "Yes, thank you!"

...Well. Something one shouldn't forget is that he's a robot. Rock weighs about two hundred and thirty pounds. While he's reaching out to grab Miku, his foot sinks into the snow, and he loses his balance. Comically flailing to keep from falling on her, Rock falls next to her, sending a large floomf of snow into the air. As the powdered snow falls, his sheepish voice comes from his hole. "I meant to do that."

Steve had gone looking for her and was oddly flattered to find her in the sensoriums, using his airfield. She even managed to get the snow right-- waist deep and almost covering everything around them. He may have still been a little shy about using the sensoriums, but he could never feel uncomfortable at the airfield.
"You need some help?" he teased her.
no subject
At least he wouldn't be mean and bury her in it, right? Right. Miku held her arms up for him to grab.
no subject
"That... didn't work," he mumbled, muffled by the snow.
no subject
"Well, at least we have each other?" she asked, and then burst into more giggles.

The cold came as a bit of a shock to his system; he'd gotten used to the warm, humid atmosphere of Stacy, and being a reptile, he didn't handle temperature extremes as well as other races. Fortunately, it wasn't cold enough to affect him too badly, the sun was out, and with it being the sensoriums, he could easily imagine up a fire if it was necessary. At the very least, some dark furs would work to keep him from losing too much heat.
It didn't take him long to spot the girl trapped in the snow. "Have to be careful with snow banks. You never know how deep they are."
no subject
"Please be careful, too." Miku added.

She blinked though as she saw that there was a woman... well, stuck in the snow. "Hey, are you okay?"
no subject
Well, "fine" was relative, but she wasn't hurt, and she didn't want to worry her, either. Actually, in the snow in front of Miku, she'd started to play Tic-Tac-Toe with herself.

There is a native Texan somewhere nearby whose idea of "deep winter" was thinking about putting on long pants before deciding he's manly enough to stick to his cargo shorts.
Paco stood in the doorway, shivering and thinking about whether or not he wanted to go into those drifts. The possibility of snowballs was definitely tempting...

He stepped inside and peered around, making a couple attempts to rub his arms and then realizing "cold metal is cold!" every time his flesh came into contact with his metal arm. "Where are you?"
no subject
And now her hand was cold.
