With no layout of the ship to go by, and no escort for now, Picard was winding his own way through the strange living ship, learning and memorizing the hallways and doors, teaching himself where every section led, and what awaited at the end of each corridor. It was difficult work, but it gave the older captain something to do to keep himself occupied while the current command staff began the easy transition between COs.

"Certainly a remarkable ship," Picard remarked, running one hand against a wall curiously. "I've little doubt her crew is equally remarkable, if half of what Captain Bennet says is true."

"Yes," the captain responded, slightly wary. "But I'm afraid I don't know who you are. It would seem you have me at a disadvantage."

"Oh, right. Wags-Tail-a-Lot. Garou Ragabash Cliath of the Bone Gnawer tribe. Better term for me would be Werewolf though. I kinda grew up watching the show you were on."

"All right, then, Wags it is," Picard replied, smirking wryly. "I trust you're housebroken, at least."

"Ha ha. Seriously, I was born human, I know how to use a toilet. Uh, fair Warning, you make a joke like that to any Garou aside from a Bone Gnawer, you may lose an arm. Not a threat, just a fact. Garou are a lot like Klingons. Except with an even shorter fuse."

"I've handled Klingons before, Mister Wags. If 'Garou' are anything like that, there should be little problem." Picard chuckled.

"Besides, I was fairly certain you would have a sense of humor."
