The F Afterglow (Thread takes a ride on the Train of Time [read: Bendy-Timed] to before Mole Plot)

(OOC notes: This might be kind of complicated, so I apologize if I mess something up: Basically, the middle section, for Visiting Hours, is open to anyone and everyone who wants to tag in: The first section is a flashback for Tsukasa, Nanashi, Rei, and Security, while the third is for Tsukasa and Nanashi to snark on one another. And now, with all that out of the way: Let's...Go On!)

Nighttime aboard Stacy: Folks, for the most part, snug as a bug in their beds. Except for a few, of course; like one Tsukasa Kadoya. He was up, taking some nighttime photos, enjoying the darkness. He browsed the city, taking pictures of things that seemed interesting. In a city, though, one can find many interesting things if one looks around. This is a tale of such an instance of looking around.

Rei stood on his own feet for a moment after Nanashi had released him, but the blood loss quickly gave him a head rush and he shook slightly, sinking to a crouch, trying to hold himself together. Recently he'd been starting to question why anyone would want to donate blood, if that process left them feeling as shaky as he currently felt. What weird places the brain can go.

"Hey," he mumbled towards Nanashi, "hey. Don't go putting words in my mouth. I'm pretty much of the mind that you're a complete monster." Yes, he kept coming back. That didn't mean he particularly liked it. After all, junkies have been known to despise their poison.

He didn't take the advice of the guy in the weird suit, at least not yet. He could hardly walk on his own without collapsing, he was in no mood to run. Not to mention, he was very confused as to what was happening around him at the moment.

Little girl? As much of a complement as that struck her as, she hadn't been called that since she had woken up on the ship. Of course, he didn't mean it as a complement, but who was to stop her from taking it as such, even as he tried to attack her back.

She dodged nimbly, "Why, thank you, little one. It has been so long since I have gotten such a complement. However, I do not appreciate it when people strike at my back." She continued smiling, but she drew her own sword from her belt, making a light, high pitch ring echo between the buildings of the city.

Nanashi glanced at Rei, a little irritated at his rebuttal, "You still came to me." Her demeanour changed slightly to have a hint of maternity in her gaze, "It would be wise to run, Rei, explosion or no." She seemed genuinely concerned, though she has been known to be a fantastic actress when she wants to be.

With that she turned her focus back to Decade and smiled sweetly before running at him. She might not have been going full speed, but he would still have to react fairly quickly to catch her blade as she aimed an attack across his chest area.

"I don't take orders from you, bitey-woman!" Rei snapped at the vampire. Besides, his head was swimming. He found himself thinking about an alien city that he had never seen before, but felt familiar. It was just one of the many memories that weren't his that kept coming to him. He'd have to find someone to talk to about that.

He slowly got to his feet, more to just feel out if he could walk under his own power then to avoid the fight. He was hardly even paying attention to it, though he did hear one thing that got his interest. The bit the armored guy said about his vision. That sounded... well, an awful lot like one of Rei's own abilities. He made a mental note of asking about it, if for some reason he ever got the chance.

That seemed to help his mind register that he was witnessing a fight. I don't know who you are, but kick her ass, he thought as he stood there watching with vague interest, wobbling back and forth on his feet a bit.

Nanashi sprung back, avoiding the rider's foot, and shouted at Rei, "Would you eat something, please?" She just wanted him to cooperate and not pass out. Really, that would be a hassle to explain.

Every move before she could make them? Nanashi tried feinting with a down-stroke to the left, but instead brought her blade up from the right side of her body, using her speed to move so fast it would look like she was just appearing in one position or another to the natural human eye.

Rei's brow creased. What did that even mean? Was it something to do with the blood loss? He had no idea, have never lost this much blood before. Or ever seen a doctor about blood loss.

Whatever, she'd let him go, he was done with this. He didn't really care what happened to her, he just wanted to put some distance between the two of them for a while. A lot of distance. For a long while. He turned and began walking away from the fight.

Unfortunately, the sudden movement sent blood rushing to his head. His vision blurred, and he collapsed, catching himself on his elbows and knees. This... this was not good, he decided. He really did need to get to the medbay, like he'd promised the Doctor a few days ago. Why hadn't he gone then? He could remember his reasoning.

Nanashi blocked the sword strike, calling out "Rei!" She needed another seritavi before she wore this one to his death. That was the last thing she needed on her hands. At least if she killed this guy here, then she could say she was just defending herself. Part of her said that she should really get him help, but she wanted this power-suit guy out of the way.

Nanashi sheathed her sword, still watching Decade carefully. She kept her hand on the sheath of the sword, slowly circling Decade like the predator she is. As soon as he moved in to attack, she planned on drawing his sword right into him. She had a hard time believing that he really could read her moves before she could actually make him, but he was fast. Faster than a normal human had any right to ever be.

Nanashi skirted the blast. She hadn't been expecting it though, and was grazed on her arm. The skin took seconds to reform and she seemed unaffected by neither the injury nor the damage done to the building that had been behind her.

"That hu~urt," she mocked, sliding her long hair over one shoulder. She smiled cruelly, "I do not know what a Fangire is, sir, but I am afraid you are mistaken. I am a Vampire. Vam-pie-er. The Queen of Vampires. And am am far better than 'pretty good' pretty boy."

She sped behind him, rushing past him as she drew her sword directly into him, leaving a nice cut across his... armour? Just his armour? There were sparks flying, sure, but did it really not cut through his armour?

Nanashi curled back her lips, turning on her heel, and rushing back at him again, katana out. She sliced it across his chest, but she could feel that it didn't break through. Of course, the sword wasn't meant for heavy armour, but his armour didn't look that heavy...

Rei was not one to curse. He thought it was vulgar, and that breath was wasted on words that didn't have a positive point to them. But when the blast shot past Nanashi and into the building behind her, every curse he knew in Portuguese, English, and Spanish came tumbling from his lips. He probably would have signed some curses too, if his hands weren't preoccupied with keeping him from falling flat on his face. He needed to get out of here. He needed medical attention. He needed to be away from the buildings if the two fighters continued to miss each other and damage them.

The problem was, he was in no condition to be hauling himself all the way to medbay. Maybe he could get himself away from here, get on the comm device and --

Then he realized it. Stacy wasn't stopping anything. No tentacles were coming down from the ceiling and pulling the fighters apart. No warnings were being handed out, no sedative applied... something was wrong here. Very, very wrong.

Rei stayed still for a moment, not sure what to do. Then the Promethean Guild rule book started running through his head. The training he'd had, the procedures he'd helped form under various aliases. In the event of a metahuman battle in public space, follow these steps. He carefully got to his feet, shaking, but willing himself not to fall over. Evacuate all civilians in the area. Retreat to a safe distance yourself. Going was slow, but he forced himself to put on foot in front of the other and move. He couldn't walk in a straight line, and wound up leaned against a building. That was okay. He could use it as support. He moved along the wall, slipping into the space between buildings. He put a few buildings distance between him and the fight. Close enough to hear it, but far enough to be out of range.

Survey the fight. If you are able, get involved and break it up in a neutral manner. If you are not able to do so, call for appropriate back up. He fumbled in his pocket, pulling out his omnicom. He didn't want to try and type something with his hands shaking the way they were, so he dictated this message. (http://community.livejournal.com/trans_channel/227588.html)

If Nanashi had been paying attention to her omnicomm she would have informed Rei that he didn't need a transfusion, but food and rest. Really, she had more control than to take enough blood to make it an emergency. He would just be feeling weak for a while. He'd be fine by tomorrow.

But rather than paying attention to her omnicomm she was a bit busy trying to not get shot. She could survive the blast, but it would hurt. In these close quarters she barely had enough room to dodge, let alone to really fight properly. Not with three opponents at least. She laughed at Decade, mockingly cooing, "Really, is that the fastest you can go?" She turned and began to run at near-full speed out to the street, where it would be more open. She would just have to wait a second or so before running Decade through with her sword. That wasn't too long, right?

Nanashi slammed into the building in front of her, taking out a wall.

Now, that really hurt.

Some snapping and cracking could be heard from among the rubble as things fixed themselves. She wasn't entirely sure what that thing was, but it had a 'time out' He couldn't keep using it.

Nanashi growled and rose from the debris, abandoning her katana in favour of hand-to-hand combat. She used her full force to strike at the over-confident man in a weird suit, and just as he lifted off the ground, she kicked to send him flying into a building this time.

She was really angry now. It was no longer an amusing game. Now she wanted this guy dead. "You cur, who do you think you are?"

((OOC: One shot done with permission of both muns.))

If very little could stand against the kick, then the best place to be was behind the person doing the kick.

Nightwing dropped in behind Decade, escrima sticks at the ready. "Wow. I've been accused of some awful dialog, but you two take the cake."

The fight needed to be ended quickly, before somebody else ended up in the middle of it. Which meant quick, hard hits to knock each of the fighters out. Luckily, he had surprise on his side, letting him get them in before either could go after him as an interloper.

Which left him alone with two unconscious fighters. Nightwing looked at them, slightly surprised as Decade's armor disappeared. "Well. That's at least a hundred pounds I don't have to lug to the precinct."

Which was what he did. Slowly, sure, but he got them both to the precinct. At least by then, he wasn't alone when he needed to get them booked.

[OOC: Realized it would be a good idea to give Mindy/Shard a reference to where Rei is]

After he'd composed the message, Rei had sat down. No, more like slumped against a building and just collapsed. He felt tired, and he couldn't stop shivering, even though the ship was so warm. His heart was racing, and he'd been experiencing head rushes while he'd walked over here.

He could faintly hear the sounds of the battle, and then he thought they stopped, but really, at this point, he didn't really care about anyone but himself. Just staying focused was his main goal right now, and that itself was difficult.
