How long had it been since Zokez II? A month? A month and a half? It didn't matter to Vivio - it was a bit too long for her. And despite her injuries (which were mostly healed), staying on the ground for this long was starting to take its toll on her. She needed to get back into shape big time.

Heading into one of the Sensoriums, Vivio brought up one of the various scenarios the other TSAB mages use: an abandoned city block. She let out a sigh as she looked up at Sacred Heart, the plushie device worried that she was doing this too soon.

"It's okay, Kris." Vivio said. "I'm fine now. Still a bit sore, but it's best that I work it out now...!" Sacred Heart nodded slightly. "Alright... let's get to work. SACRED HEART! SET UP!"

A burst of rainbow energy followed suit and Vivio transformed into her Barrier Jacketed adult self, taking off into the sky. A few moments later, a set of drones would start chasing her, following the same tackle and skewer pattern the Shrikes followed in their attack.

She would not let that happen again.

Vivio giggled as Hikari was snuck up upon by her partner. Calming down, she smiled as she approached closer to the two.

"If you want, I could help you out!" Vivio said.

Hikari smiled. "Thanks, I'd like that. It's about time to see what I can really do, you know?"

Vivio nodded in agreement. "Oh, I know all too well..." she said, stepping back. She put away the card in favor of having Sacred Heart with her. Not that she trusted the card, but since she knew what she could do with it, it would be unfair for her to use it on Hikari.

"You're going to use the Pactio, right? I don't want to go overboard, so I'll just use Sacred Heart..."

Hikari smiled. "Yeah, I am. I know what I can do with it, but I never actually sparred against anyone with it before..." She said, pulling out her card as Tailmon jumped off of her back.

"Well, then... now's a perfect time to find out!" Vivio said, taking Sacred Heart in her hand, then holding it up. "Sacred Heart, SET UP!"

Another burst of light and Vivio took up her transformed state again.

Hikari grinned. "You're right! Adeat!" She shouted, light exploding all around her before she was wearing her pactio suit as well, the purple short sleeve shirt and shorts... along with the small angel wings on her back.

She giggled. "You ready Vivio-chan?"

"Mmn! I'm ready, Hikari-chan!" Vivio said, nodding. "Let's see what you can do!"

The young mage motioned for Hikari to make the first move. She wanted to see what she could do briefly before she opened up.

Hikari nodded, moving back and concentrating before thrusting her hand forward, a pink beam of energy shooting out of it towards Vivio.

Ranged attacks. Interesting. She let a barrier come up, blocking the shot before following up with two orbs of rainbow-colored energy, shooting them towards Hikari.

Hikari thrust her other hand in front of her, a barrier of her own appearing and knocking the orbs or rainbow magic away. She grinned, before flying up into the air and firing another blast of pink energy down at Vivio.

Vivio pushed away, taking off into the air as the energy blast struck the ground.

"Not bad! Not bad at all...!" Vivio said. "Still got a ways to go!" With that, she fired a burst of rainbow energy at Hikari.

Hikari's eyes widened as she was blasted by the burst of rainbow energy, but she managed to right herself easily enough and send another two beams of energy speeding towards Vivio. "Thanks Vivio-chan!"

She winced a bit as her attack made contact. It was more than enough of a distraction for the other girl's attacks. Vivio barely evaded the first attack, only to be struck by the second. She righted herself before she hit the ground, then nodded.

"Let's how she does..." Vivio uttered before summoning a group of orbs. "SONIC SHOOTER!" she shouted, the orbs streaking towards Hikari.

Oh, well, that was just great.

Hikari weaved through the orbs, concentrating on not getting hit by the blasts of magic before the last one nearly crashed into her, but Hikari thrust her hand forward and had the barrier appear just in time to stop the attack.

Vivio blinked, watching Hikari weave past her attacks, blocking the last one with a barrier. She was good, but there was a lot of room for improvement.

"That was really good, Hikari-chan!" Vivio said. "I'm surprised you could do that - it's hard to get past all of those and all but one? I'm impressed!"

Hikari grinned. "Thanks Vivio-chan. I think it was a lot harder than it looked though."

"Sorry, I forget how fast they are...!" Vivio admitted. "I'll try to keep things down a bit in the future!"

With that, she resumed her attacks, firing another burst of rainbow energy at Hikari.

Hikari grinned, blocking that attack with her barrier and shooting another beam of pink energy towards Vivio, trying to think of some way to get a hit in.

Vivio brought up another barrier, blocking Hikari's attack. Realizing it would be a continuing game of who can hit who, she decided to mix things up a bit... and flew up close to Hikari, intending on hand to hand combat.

Oh that wasn't good, Hikari's powers were not suited for hand to hand combat, so she thrust her arm forward and sent another blast of energy towards the approaching Vivio as she moved back.

Vivio knew she wasn't at 100% coming into this and it showed. Having been put out for so long, she didn't realize that a) Hikari would be long-range only and b) she would use an attack like that to keep her away.

A few moments later, the blast struck Vivio, sending her plummeting to the ground.

Hikari gasped, looking down at the plummeting Vivio. She was sure that the other girl would be fine, but even so, she didn't want to keep attacking until she knew for sure.

Before Vivio could hit the ground, she righted herself and landed on the ground. However, she winced as she held her shoulder - though the shot wasn't too bad, it aggravated her wound.

"I-I'm okay...!" Vivio said.

Hikari flew down to Vivio, a worried look on her face. "Are you sure? It... you look like you're still hurt."

"I guess I'm still a little sore." Vivio admitted. "Guess I should have taken things much more slower..."
