And this was the part of the job that Leon knew would eventually grate on him. Meetings. They were necessary, and usually productive, but they were not his thing. Still, it was part of the job now, so as per his post on the comms, he made himself available at the Precinct. His old office belonged to Samus now, so for the time being he made himself comfortable in the fifth floor conference room.

Wedge stepped into the office and came to attention, accompanying the stance with a brisk salute.

"Sir. I have my report on the squadron's capabilities ready for you, if you'd like to take a look."

Not that Leon didn't appreciate it, but the formality did make him a touch uncomfortable. But the salute was returned.

"At ease, General. I'll take a look at that report.

"Have a seat."

Wedge nodded and took a seat, handing his datapad across the desk.

"At the moment, I have twenty-two operational X-wing fighters and two with minor and significant damage awaiting repairs. Additionally, we have several mobile suits and a total of twenty-three pilots all told. We're still not at what I would consider a fully operational status. While we have several pilots with significant experience, there are others who need further training. At best, I would classify us as a training squadron. However, I believe that given time we'll be up to a cohesive unit in very little time. The details are on the datapad."

"How many units and pilots do you normally have on standby, ready to scramble?"
