Negi peeled the last of his bandages away as he stood in the park area surrounding the city center. "Looks like I'm all healed up Chamo-kun," said Negi as he started to stretch.

"Yeah, you really took it to yourself this time aniki," said Chamo as he finished marking out a circle on the ground, one that had Negi blinking.

"What's that for?" inquired Negi. "I'm not kissing anyone today."

"Insurance aniki! What if a beautiful girl comes along and you just have to kiss her?" Chamo grinned lecherously as Negi facepalmed. "Besides, every time you step out of that bus, you have a good chance of making an artifact."

"I know I know." said Negi as he pulled out his own card. "Adeat!"

In a flash of light, his card case appeared as he pulled out the roster of cards and flipped through them. "I'm going to familiarize myself with these things," said Negi. "Last time I didn't rely on them as much. This time I want to be ready."

Spinning a card around, he slotted it into the top and proclaimed, "Ruyi Jingu Bang!" Spinning the case around it lengthened into a wooden bow with two metal caps on either end. Testing the weight, he began to start a slow kung fu kata, incorporating spear fighting into the motions. So caught up in his workout, he wouldn't notice anyone else coming in to see him.

"EXTEND!" And the pole extended out, striking a tree. "Now grow!" And said tree got smushed. "Whoops."

Okay, so she can blame all the times she's ran into her mamas during one of their "alone time" moments for where she got the kissing bits. More or less bad timing on her part.

At the same time, though, Vivio was enjoying this. For her first kiss, she wasn't expecting it to be... well... like this!

It was intoxicating for Negi at least. He was definitely surprised, amazed, and confused all at the same time. She knew how to kiss like this, her lips were soft, she was putting everything she had into it, Stacy hadn't stopped them whyfor god has not the ship stopped them, and to top it all off...

It was getting kind of hard to breathe. But a challenge was a challenge, and Negi retaliated the best he could.

"Wow, it's like watching two kids fight with their lips," said Chamo with a sigh. "SH, I think aniki's never going to be able to kiss with REAL passion."

Vivio was starting to enjoy this a bit too much. Now she could see why Nanoha-mama and Fate-mama enjoyed it so much. However, it was getting a bit harder for her to breath. May be the clone of the Saint Kaiser, but even Kung-Fu Action Jesus needs to breath!

Sacred Heart just continued watching, shaking his head. One has to wonder if she was going to do this with Fletcher... or Einhart if she showed up.

Negi finally relaxed and he kissed back just as hard. Chamo checked his watch and gaped. "Wow, 4 minutes and counting. I think they've broken the record."

With a final gasp, Negi finally let go, and his tongue hung out as he panted softly. "V-Vivio, it hurts," he muttered. "Hard... to breathe..."

The same words but uttered with different ones in the same stanza by Setsuna. Chamo cracked up.

And as Negi broke the kiss, the poor girl began panting herself, surprised that she lasted that long.

"Sorry... Negi-kun... you okay?" she asked, trying to get her breath back.

"I'll live," he said, looking extremely dazed. "Just... wow. I've never been kissed like that. How did you learn how to do that?"

He was honestly curious as Chamo duplicated the card, a stylized appearance that was both interesting and functional designs (http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g56/shaungarin/Pactio/vivio4pactiocopy.png) on it. Taking the master copy, he held it up for her to see.

"I like your outfit," said Negi as he checked the Latin. "'The Saint Warrior Queen,' more or less."

Vivio took up the card herself, looking at it curiously.

"Wow, it does look good. Kinda like how I am when I Set Up." she said, a smile on her face. Her face blanched when she heard Negi mention what the Latin name said. "'Saint Warrior Queen'? I-Is there any way we can change that? I... am not too fond of that name..." A sheepish grin formed on her face.

"Ah, sorry. A pactio card sees through all hidden truths," said Negi with a blush and rub of his head. "If anything you can just tell them it means something else?"

She was still sitting on him and all that so it made Negi just a touch lightheaded. He sincerely hoped she didn't hurt herself tackling him.

"It's not that's it's bad or I'm hiding anything..." Vivio said, slowly getting off of Negi. "...it's just that's who I was... long ago."

She let out a sigh, wondering if she should tell her about that little bit.

"Who... you were before?" Negi was honestly confused. Was this a case of reincarnation or something else?

"Neechan, if you're uncomfortable with it, then you don't have to tell us," said Chamo.

"...I'm an artificial being. I was created out of the DNA of an ancient Belkan ruler known as the Saint Kaiser." Vivio said. "...I was created to power a mobile weapon known as the Saint's Cradle. That is... until Nanoha-mama and the others saved me."

"I see..." said Negi, thinking about that. An artificial person. "But your emotions aren't artificial, and neither is your person." And neither is your kiss either...

"For what matters, you're your own person, and I think that's what matters," added Negi.

Vivio smiled hearing that.

"You're right. That's all that matters." she said. She let out a giggle before continuing. "That's what Nanoha-mama said, too, pretty much." She let out a wistful sigh. "...has it been that long since that day...? Wow..."

Negi smiled, rubbing his head. "I guess that's what's most important then."

"How long have you been her daughter? A few years now?" asked Negi curiously as he sat up fully and folded his hands in his lap.

"It's been five years, give or take." Vivio said. "Though for Nanoha-mama and Fate-mama, it's only been a few months or a year. I think it has to do with how I was grabbed, though..."

"Then that means you have to make every moment with them count," said Negi firmly. "Take it day by day, and make sure to tell them every morning that you love them."

"Poetic Aniki," said Chamo.

"Eh, it's something that was on my mind."

Vivio chuckled a bit before looking at the card.

"...what do I do with this now?" Vivio asked.

"Ah, well it summons your artifact," said Negi. "The artifact is best suited to the user and be it combat or non-combat. It could vary between being a book to a staff or anything in between."

"It should have a default mode too. Give it a shot," said Chamo.

"Okay...!" Vivio said, nodding. Standing up, she smiled...

"Um, Negi-kun, I think it's broke." Vivio said, a confused look on her face.

Negi paused and then slapped his forehead. "Right, right." Kiss must have scrambled my brains... "You say Adeat to summon it."

"Right...! Adeat!" Vivio said, finally activating her card. Her new form resembled that of her Barrier Jacketed adult form with the exception of the shorts replacing the usual pants and shorter jacket sleeves. That and the pink sash and hair bow.

"Wow... so cool...!" Vivio said.

"It suits you," said Negi honestly as he looked her over. So cute... keep it together Springfield, you don't need this right now. Professional, yeah.

Slotting in his own artifact, he summoned Yue's book and scrolled through it. "The artifact is the Queen of a Thousand Stances. It says here it will emulate devices and magical weapons. Give it a command?"

"Alright... let's see... Raising Heart, set up!" With that, the sash glowed and reappeared in Vivio's hands, now as Nanoha's weapon. "Wow... um... Bardiche!" Now it changed into Fate's scythe-like staff. "...Mach Caliber?" It shifted again, turning into a geared bracer on her left hand. "...return!"

With that, the sash returned to normal, taking its place back on Vivio's waist.

"Wow... that's so cool...!"

"So it's kind of like Rakan-san's but with a definite lower functionality than his many-shifting weapon," said Chamo, rubbing his chin. "Looks like it's already working well with Sacred Heart."

"Your limitations will lift later on, once you get used to the extra magic that's being provided from it," added Negi. "Looks pretty good at the same time!"

Vivio chuckled a bit as both Chamo and Negi complimented her on her new skill. "Thanks, you too. I'm gonna hafta practice this once I'm fully healed."

"Now... how do I return to normal?"
