beds & sheets & pieces for homes (bendied anytime during shore leave)
Arha had been staring at beds for a very long time--some were simple, some ornate, some were streamlined and flowing to the point where they looked like they had been grown. There were large pods with lights in them, small pods, egg-shaped and fragile looking, there were wooden ones that were ornately carved with springy mattresses. Some of the mattresses were dense and reminded her of thick futons she had slept on as a child. They were rectangular, circle, slanted, square--some were even oval or bizarrely shaped to accommodate a range of non-humanoid species. She found several that floated with their attached anti-gravity units and were easily moved, those, too, came in a variety of styles.
A nest of blankets would only go so far in the City, after all.
She brushed her fingers over a panel of carved oct-o-poozes and laughed softly. There was still much to explore and she would have to consult her current bedmate on the matter. Too, she would get another bed or two, for the small villa she had found and begun to restore, had enough room for more than Kyle Katarn and herself. Arha consulted the funds she had barely dipped into and decided this was the proper course of action. She would purchase beds with mattresses, pillows, and fine, soft linens, and a table or two along with a proper chest for clothing. She had already decided upon Jed-Eye colors for the fabrics, soft sands, crisp whites, deep rusty browns, with soft, watery blue accents. It was the beds she had trouble with.
Should they be round? Square? Rectangle? That egg shape in the corner? The attached table on that one? Arha circled around the store once more.

Havens
Renne had loved it, like he had loved doing similar things in other places of times past.
Now however, he finds himself in this place, carefully and curiously exploring. Reminded all too keenly of a gift recently bestowed upon him, Renne smiles a bit to himself. He could find something to reciprocate with...Here? Possibly.
Once he finds out where "Here" is.

That bed was not too comfortable that she would sink into it and never return and would provide for any guests who might wish to stay. Arha was definitely preparing for such an eventuality seeing as this home she was fixing was not only for herself. There was enough space in it to house several individuals up to, at capacity six, with comfort. Any more and she would be forced to set up tents in the courtyard.
Such a prospect was not unappealing, though she was not sure if she ought to shop for tents while she was shopping for beds. The mattress she was on was too soft and she shifted before padding to an anti-gravity bed and testing it out.
It was most firm, even if it was box-like.
"I believe I do like this one," she murmured, bouncing a little.

Voices murmur back and forth, drifting through the air. In his explorations, the Renne finds himself investigating most, if not all, of the things he runs into. Beds? All of them? He's fascinated by them all, even tempted to try a few out.
But none of them, no matter how tempting, come close to something back onboard. Upon thinking of that something, Renne simply smiles and crawls onward.
When Arha's voice reaches his ears though, he can't help but let out a squeak.
"Awrrrr-ha!"

Sorry for the Jack, but I really should have tagged in earlier.

"Also I think I saw a gift shop down the street if that helps the little guy out at all. Don't know if they have what he's looking for but it's a place to start."
Re: <3!
"It is, I believe five shops back--the gift shop. But I do not know what you are looking for, so it is a difficult thing to aid you in your search."

And yes. The Renne's already bouncing a bit on this bouncy bed. Well, until the Male's voice registers in his big ears; at which point, he crawls back down to the floor. It takes a minute but he sniffs his way close enough to the Male to...well. Sniff at him.
Curious imp is curious.
"Wha-t yeu is?"
