Not Cosplay I Swear
The music attached to a MP3 player scavanged from W&P was blasting in Rein's house, some kind of silly J-Pop that she had immediately liked. Having hooked it up to her stereo she had also discovered in said location, she was zipping around the store, looking for her tape measure.
She hadn't done any tailor work in a while, so it was definitely something to look forward to. And snapping her fingers, a slender girl of four-eleven stood there, zipping to the back and soon coming out in a tribal-like top and skirt, something she liked to lounge around in when she could afford to wear her big-person clothing. That, and the extra arms reach was more than encouraged when doing work like this.
"Hope this is alright," said Rein to herself, fingering the soft cloth that she had hanging around. There was a huge bundle of various fabric all rolled together in the corner, and a large roll of black cloth stood there, awaiting use.

"Hello? Anyone home?"

It was a formality, but one that she wanted to at least perform as she turned the music down a little and picked up a tape measure. "I would offer cookies and tea, but sadly the bus ran out of that a while ago."

"So...how much will this set me back, exactly?" You can admire him for getting straight to the point, but...tact and Tsukasa do not equal out.

And get people into cosplay, but there was little she could do about that with such limited resources.
"If you want, you could do me a favor and spread the word a little more when you meet new people. I'm always open after my shift on the bridge and I love to make stuff."

Puttering over to the roll, she pulled it up and carried it over. "This is a wool cloth that I found. It's soft, and the material breathes. Considering how humid Stacy is, it would be a good type of cloth. And it's magenta too."
She held out a end for him to run a hand over to see if he liked the feel of it.

Is...is she a fairy? he wonders.
He composes himself and decides not to ask about a person with slightly strange appearance in this interdimensional space whale repurposed prison ship full of possibly-dead people, though. Instead, he states what he came here for.
"Excuse me, miss, but is this where we get clothes? This outfit is a thoughtful gift from our host, but it's not exactly my style," he explains.

She giggled. "I know, the plantsuits are jarring. Please, come in. Do you have something in mind?"

He walks into the store, looking around at what's there. "Well, my favorite suit was a gold business suit...something red I can just wear around would be fine for a start, though."

Floating over to the nearby rolls, she selected a roll and floated it into her arms. "How's this? It's a nice cloth, not too sure what but it breathes. And it's not a jarring red either, a nice soft dark one."

It was a professional looking suit, clean with sharp edges and lines in it. Fairly flattering on anyone as someone would wear it to business or on a casual day.

She pulled down the hood of her black cape with her family crest embroidered onto the back, but she kept on her new-found sunglasses. Even though it was darker, it was still bright.

Well, she is just a little ball of cheer and happy! Nanashi thought with a little smile. "I was hoping you could help me. As a vampire, my body is already rather resistant to dirt and grime, making this," she motioned to the suit underneath her cloak, "unnecessary. I was hoping that you might be able to make me a... well, I suppose you might call it a dress, but with leggings and a slit in the skirt up to the waist. You see, I am a military ruler, and I have always needed to be able to move easily on short notice, while still being acceptable for court appearances."

"You'll want something breathable, but strong. I'm thinking this." And she pulled out a stretch of pink cloth that seemed to shimmer with some energy. "The cloth is easily dyed with what I have on stock. Will it suit your needs?"
no subject
So many fascinating new things she was discovering on this ship. "Also, do you happen to have anything fire resistant that would still be suitable for my needs?" She figured it was a shot in the dark. Sure, she had hired people in her country to research such a material, but they had not had much luck. Of course things were different here, and there was always a chance.

She had seen his profile when working the Comms, who hadn't? But unlike everyone who jumped to conclusions about people, Rein's smile was neither forced nor strained.
"Please have a seat and we'll discuss what you want made!"

if any of this gets confusing I'll dig up pics of what I'm talking about
He'd have asked for built in kneepads, but he was fairly sure they didn't have the kind of material that was needed to make those. "On the tops instead of having the two lower pockets on the front I'd like them on the shoulders please. Also take the two remaining pockets on the front and angle them diagonally so they open outward."
"If that's too much I'll just take them standard issue."
No prob
She held out a corner for him to feel, hoping it was similar to what he wanted. "And modifications to standard outfits is not a big concern, I can modify things on the fly."
