Just for show
Char has only one focus in mind when he reaches the hangar - well, technically, two.
Sure enough, there stands his Sazabi, looking to be completely undamaged from its fight with the Nu Gundam standing next to it, despite Char having a rather vivid memory of it being nearly totaled no more than a day ago, tops. Pleased as ever, Char mounts the scaffolding next to it and makes a beeline for the cockpit. He doesn't have any particular plans for the unit (although Nu being right there within punching distance made vandalism awfully tempting), he just feels the need for the familiarity of its cockpit, and the psycoframe system, in the strange, strange new world he had suddenly found himself in.
"Never thought I'd be this attached to a unit," Char mutters to himself as he starts the machine up and dons the psycommu helmet unit to link up with the sensor and weapons systems. "I must be getting dependent in my old--"

"Wh-what the hell is this pressure?" Char practically yells once he's connected to the psychoframe. "It's enormous...could it be the ship?"
Char takes the helmet off, disconnecting himself from Sazabi's psychic enhancement. He's breathing heavily from the effects of the shock. "That's going to take some getting used to."

At this point, Sazabi finally does move, its arm swinging up through a gantry as Char points the beam shotrifle directly at Nu's cockpit hatch. "That's why I'm not going to kill you. Not now. Maybe when we're done burning the last of the species responsible for this into vapor, we can continue our fight, but for now, I want to make it clear that our battle's over."
The rifle remains poise to vaporize his rival as Char reconsiders his own words, but in the end, practicality wins out over his emotions for now. All destroying Amuro would do now is make his revenge on the Ohm that much more difficult, and looking at things objectively, snuffing out his universe was a far greater offense than losing one loved one to a hypocrite.
"Unless you have some objection to that, of course."

"...You aren't suggesting we fight together!? After all that..."
Nu had been poised to draw it's Custom Beam Saber- Another moment went by in a sort of deadlock, with Amuro at the disadvantage...
"...It doesn't look like I have much of a choice here, does it."
Nu stood down, returning to a neutral stance as it's cockpit opened. Amuro stared directly down the barrel of that weapon, anger still in his eyes- But Char was right here, for once. He couldn't argue that. He had a point.

Char removes the barrel of the gun, knowing Amuro could draw his beam saber, but also knowing him well enough to know he wouldn't kill in cold blood. "But I think if we stay out of each others' way, we might both be able to help this ship."
