Itadakimasu~! [OPEN PARTY]

If the Mess Hall normally smelled like anything, it was the bland, flavorless glop that the crew was accustomed to eating. But if you were to pass by the room today, you might notice a different smell. A good smell - the smell of actual food.

Nanoha Takamachi and Miku Hinasaki have been hard at work cooking up a feast of authentic homemade Japanese cuisine, and the entire ship is invited. Have at it!

(ooc: Thread amongst yourselves; Nanoha and Miku will be tagging around and making sure everyone's having a good time, but it's a party!

There's pretty much every type of Japanese cuisine here that they thought non-Japanese would enjoy/be familiar with: Hand-rolled sushi, some gyoza potstickers, udon bowls, agedashi tofu, and a variety of other dishes. If you're familiar with it, they probably made some.)

"Like a sponge," Alessa repeated, looking at the food warily. She had never eaten a sponge before, the idea seemed strange to her. Humans definitely had weird ideas about food sometimes.

Alessa raised an eyebrow. "If you're comfortable with each other in that way, of course." What was Miku getting defensive about? She didn't think she would ever understand this girl.

But at what she said next, Alessa felt a surge of actual anger there. Had she forgotten that she'd actually helped them, even though she'd been virtually diminished in strength? That was almost insulting.

"Nevermind," Alessa said duly. "Forget I asked. I was making conversation."

See if she ever did something like that again. Now she actually felt as if she could hear other demon laughing at her, wherever they were now.

No, Miku hadn't forgotten. "I just thought it strange that you'd asked; it isn't as if we're close." Not that Miku had any desire to be closer to the girl-demon-cruel monster.

Alessa gave her a dirty look. "We don't have to be close to ask a question like that. If you thought that was why, you can put that thought out of your mind. Just stay thinking of me a monster or whatever your type thinks. It makes no difference to me."

This explained why Sasami was so nice: she was an alien to Earth. They were all so predictable that way anyway.

"Anyway, you're here having your nice time. The food is decent."
