Enjoying the open air.

Perched atop one of the tallest buildings in the city, Celena took in the view, taking in the sights of all the unfamiliar structures and buildings. Her sharp eyes scanning over one to the next, surveying the layout of the city even as the dawning sun rose, lighting the artificial canyons.

“A fine day to for a flight, as any,” a light rumbling chuckle leaving her as she uncurled her tail and stood. Casting aside her worries and unfurling her wings to stretch them wide. Taking one last gaze across the cityscape before she leapt forth, diving down into the maze of artificial canyons the city formed.

A fine day to fly indeed.

((OOC: Feel free to spot her flying and try and get her attention, or even join her in the air if the charrie can fly))

< Yeah, it's one good thing about being inside. > a voice seemingly in her head said in reply. < Could do with some artificial thermals, though. It gets tiring after a while. I have to call them up in the sensoriums. > Even though he suspected she might have been downsized to fit on the ship, the hawk-boy still felt rather small compared to the dragon.

Tobias was partly reverting back to his old recon behavior, even though a hawk here would be noticeable, unlike back home. He had no idea where to find Tom or Karen, but it was wise to try and spot them, somewhere or other. He was also just getting some exercise, stretching his wings a bit before the, as Marco would call it, "goo of the day".

< Definitely true. I also think maybe it depends on wing design and all that. Everyone's different. > Hawks were able to fly on their own just fine, but they were adapted to use thermals and glide as much as possible, to save energy.

There was a slight element of surprise in his voice; he wasn't used to beings other than Andalites or morphed Animorphs thought-speaking to him. But then, the unusual was even more the norm here than back home.

< Not that I know of. But you can make one in the Sensoriums, I think. > he said.

< My name's Tobias, by the way. > he added, not wanting to forget.

Well that was a sight she hadn't seen in a while.

Soaring into the air, Sofia followed the- dragon?

"I hope you don't mind if I join?"

In this case, something else.

"Good. I will not come too close. I don't want to throw off your flying." She kept a fair distance between them, just enough so that her wind manipulation wouldn't disturb Celena. "My name is Sofia."

"Pleasure to meet you too." Sofia responded with a smile. "I'm a mutant. I can control the wind."

"Yes, humans with a genetic mutation. It grants us different powers. Of course, we have to learn how to use them. It took me a while to learn how to fly without making myself or someone else fall over." Sofia sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, allowing herself to just feel the wind buoying her. She had missed it so.
