Friendly Fire

Elsewhere on this ship, a war was being waged. A war for the hearts and minds, the souls and very sanity of this crew.

A war that Stacy wasn't certain that all would survive, hence why she released you. Replacements would be needed.

But that war is miles away from where you are. Or at least, so it seems. There are no screams of agony to greet you, no monsters trying to claw at you.

But that doesn't mean the Nightmare King can't reach you.

Prior to your arrival here on the Obs deck, reality had been shifted. Constructs of the current crew grew out of nothing. All of them look, sound, feel, behave, and scan as the crew member they're copying. They're as real as you are. And with smiling faces, they await your arrival.

They can't wait to welcome you. To your doom.

Won't you say hi?

[ooc: Nightmare plot is still on, people, and this is the newbie portion. For all current players, as stated above, the Nightmare King made copies of your guys, who are still stuck fighting nightmares elsewhere in the plot. You can tag in as the copy of your character, have them be friendly, get the newbies to let their guard down, and then the real nightmare can begin. Newbies, you can tag in, have fun, and suspect nothing until its too late.]

[Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have the copies of your guys greet the newbies.]

"Changing into another Rider won't help you here!" Copy V3 jumps a bit, trying to knee the faux Kuuga in the face. Inwardly, the Nightmare King is frustrated. How many different forms and powers could one man have? He was only human, after all.

Fake Kazami, in the meantime, was frustrated. This wasn't going to go as easily as planned if the other guy kept changing forms. He was pretty sure he could wipe the floor with the pink bastard, but this red guy actually looked kind of intimidating.

...Y'know. As intimidating as you can be when facing a creature controlled by pure nightmare.

Kuuga!Decade grabbed V3's leg and threw him. He needed a few seconds. "Just settle down, Kazami! I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I have to!"

And with that, he pulled and slotted a golden card. *FINAL ATTACK RIDE! KU-KU-KU-KUUGA!* Rang out, and Kuuga!Decade charged V3; he wasn't planning on killing him, though; Kuuga's Mighty Kick should stop him to let Decade talk to Kazami, though.

V3 slams into the wall and growls, apparently not too interested in whatever Decade has to say to him at this point. The Nightmare King has too much to cover right now, and this little fight is now an unneeded distraction.

It needs to be finished.

Picking himself up, he launches himself into the air, giving a wordless scream. His attack, however, should be instantly recognizable.

A Rider Kick.

The copy thinks it's good enough to stand up to a Rider, but that cracking noise, and the explosion that launches him across the room when their feet connect, proves him otherwise. Kamen Rider V3 struggles to stand, grabbing a counter to compensate for his leg, missing and trailing wires from the knee down. In the end, he only manages to fall face-forward.

An explosion follows.

The explosion was intense; very much so. In fact, it threw Kuuga!Decade across the cafeteria they were in. Shrapnel from the counters, tables, and chairs flew around and were deflected harmlessly off his armor. After everything settled down, he removed his belt, and the copy of Kuuga disappeared, leaving only Tsukasa.

"Why, Kazami? I was working to save the worlds...everything was to save the worlds." And with that phrase, he left the war zone that was once a cafeteria, looking for a vantage point to figure out just where he was.
