Pop. Pop pop pop. Poppuhpoppoppop. KASCHUNKhiiiiiiiissssss.

There was condensation and mist spraying out from cracks in oblong glowing things that were clustered along the floors and walls of the huge, ancient-looking caverns.

For now, the ones that were cracking were the closest to the floor, but perhaps later, the figures sliding out of the pods would be sliding out onto the slimy walkways and platforms above.

Pop. Poppop. KASCHUNKhiiiiiissss.

There was light, and unconscious minds breaking through the top of the briny, harsh waters of consciousness, as their bodies did similarly and broke free from the pods, sliding to the floor, shivering in pools of slime.

Once the temporary blindness that some of them had passed, and once they were free of their sleepy stupors: somebody had some splainin' to do.

But there would be no explanations, as the only thing that could explain was only watching, silently, almost as a mother would look at their child right after it was born.

Pop. KASCHUNKhissss.

Danny, luck in situations like these never being on his side, landed face first on the cavern floor, and woke up with a shout.

"GAH!"

Then he noticed he was covered in goop.

"GAH!"

And then he noticed he was naked.

"...eep."

||Daniel Fenton, your heart-rate indicated that you are distressed.|| echoed a voice in Danny's head.

"No, no I'm fine. I'm just naked, covered in goo, and now I have a voice talking in my head," the halfa said sarcastically. "OF COURSE I'M DISTRESSED!"

Tentacles came out of the walls, bearing gifts! Of giant needles!

||Would you like a mild sedative?||

Stacy is helpful.

Danny backed away from the needles, going ghost as he did so in order to have something resembling clothes and to phase the goo off of himself.

"Noo sedative for me please. Like, at all. Also, has anyone ever told you that offering things with tentacles is really creepy?"

||Yes.||

And yet she did it anyway.

"...of course. Look, is their any place I can get clothes so I don't have to be naked when I turn human again? "

Light appeared on the floor, glowing phosphorescently, trailing up, up, walkways that spiraled around to the massive caverns ceiling.

||Follow the lights.||

Danny hovered into the air, and followed the lights up to the Clothing Room, ladning in the center of the area and changin back into human form.

"Let me guess. This is gonna involve tentacles too, isn't it?"

||Yes.||

The vines reached down and quickly dressed him in the standard uniform.

"...thanks for the warning. Uh, is there anyone else here?"

||They are gathering in the Weapons and Possessions Locker and Obs Deck. Both are accessible through the Hub.||

The lights led to the transport tube.

"Alright then." Danny entered the transport tubes, arriving the Lockers where he would find his thermos waiting for him. He then made his way to the Obs Deck.
