Lean Mean Blue Machine [open to anyone (but NOT a meeting post! Just for meeting Jaime)]
There's a lot of people that mill around after the crew returns. Jaime Reyes, also known as the Blue Beetle, stays suited up for now, just in case, especially after getting fried with a Dracon beam twice.
He's trying to get through to the MedBay, where Paco is, because he doesn't want him to have to go through his de-Yeerking alone, whatever the Yeerk said or tried to do to him.
But the blue-suited, alien symbiote-powered teenager is willing to talk to or help any new person that needs it.
"Everybody okay? I know you new guys got all confused and shaken up by this, too."

She's still too disoriented to really understand in some ways. This place is like the strangest nightmare she's ever had and she keeps hoping she's about to wake up.
It's both a relief and a horrible nail in the reality coffin when she sees Jaime just outside in the hallway. She doesn't pause to placate Paco that she's leaving. He doesn't seem aware of her right now and if he is she knows he'll understand.
She scrambles to her feet and beelines for her other best friend.
"JAIME!"

There is massive hugging. He powers down to do it even, so there's flesh and blood hugging the crap out of her instead of armor.
"On the upside, if we need any planets blown up, we're covered."
Hug hug hug. Paco tried to kill him. It's a baaad day.

"I'm wearing something that's alive and they told me Paco's infected with brain slugs and I want to go home and I'm SO glad you're not dead!"
She pulls away enough to look him in the eyes, but not enough to stop the hugging. "Did Paco really do that? The thing with the gun? The holographic lady showed us security camera captures or something back when we were all getting our stuff. Are you okay?"
That's probably a stupid question. She doesn't think ANYONE around here is okay at the moment, but she feels like she should ask.

Yes, you're hugging waste-clothes. Sorry.
"Are you okay? This is a ten-point-oh on the Weird-o-meter, even for us. It's so weird for El Paso, it's not even in El Paso anymore."

"I was covered in slime and I got dressed by tentacles Jaime! TENTACLES! I am so far from okay I think I'm in another dimension..." She rubs at one eye, trying to breathe deep and calm down.
Don't flip out, don't flip out, you can cry some other time. Possibly when Paco is no longer infected with alien slug things.
"I was worried there were going to be homocidal ewok things again like when that mother box thing happened by I'd kind of have preferred those little buggers to the werewolf."

Well, she'll rush to their defense. Their messy, messy defense.
Her ears prick up as she looks to Jaime. "I have already said I refuse to eat him." See? Good wolf.

If scanned by whatever means, he appears (for the moment, anyway) to be a rather unhealthy human... but still human.

Despite Danny's words, he doesn't really sound happy. He actually sounds kinda depressed.

"I will be perfectly fine," he remarks in a voice that he's certain is quite reasonable given the circumstances, "once someone's explained to me what just happened."
He's been trained as a soldier. He behaved like a good soldier, did what he told, shot unearthly creatures with a bizarre crossbow, didn't ask questions. Now he would like some answers. Preferably slowly and in old-fashioned words.

"I'm still amazed by this fight. And I'll admit to being a little curious about the other parasites here. As long as I don't have to fight them."
"I suppose these yeerks were also just trying to survive, but I can't imagine being a slave that way. Your kind kill your host first. Being eaten is bad, but I think what they do is worse than death."
"I get their motivation, and I don't really have human emotions, but I can see why you'd think that way. I'd probably hate it too, if I could hate."
