Easy Comforts [OPEN]

How long was it since she was released? A week, maybe more? For Vivio, it felt like an eternity. While she missed home and everyone around, having her mothers and Reinforce around made things seem less empty.

Even if she was from their future.

But, at the moment, she wanted to put everything behind her and have some fun. To that end, she took over one of the Sensoriums and pretty much had it recreate a large playground: just because they're on a ship didn't mean she couldn't act like a child!

Letting out a giggle, she ran over to one of the swings and hopped on, pushing herself to start swinging.

(OoC: It's open to all, but the children here are more than welcome to come in and join Vivio! o/)

"Hmm." Was all Sherry said and gave Vivio a long, quizzical look. Curious. Unfortunately, it was here she took after her biological parents and not her new ones, she knew. She could feel Birkin eyes staring at, no, through Vivio and trying to figure that out. Still, at least Vivio's story had a parallel with her own.

She'd gotten a happy ending, too, even if it was a little atypical. Sherry shifted on her feet, as big as the words she used, she was still a little girl, "I see. Well, I guess that's a good a reason as any to have heterochromia." It wasn't like she'd been engineered to be a monster - even if that story was a little weird.

But what stone could she throw? She'd almost been turned into a monster herself. Sherry moved her eyes from Vivio and to Alessa, "So do Vega and Yuri; she our friend." She couldn't help it; she sounded a little possessive of that fact. Ours not Yours.

Fletcher supposed Vivio's story -- as bizarre as it was -- served as an answer to Alessa's question, and he avoided answering. He'd had his own share of bad experiences back home, some he wished he could forget, but he'd gladly take it all back. Everything was okay now, and it was so much better than having it all gone in the blink of an eye.

"Who's that?" Fletcher asked in a curious, bendy-time sort of fashion.

"We're talking about Roxie," Alessa answered, interested a bit in Vivio's story. While she had at one point agreed with Kadaj about shaking things up on the ship, she knew well enough what to NOT tell him: these kids each had their own story to them, and some of them even had leverage in this place. Being Roxie's friends, she knew that Kadaj would have trouble anyway, but they were also intelligent, and Alessa quite frankly would not have allowed Kadaj's influence either. It was an interesting group, and they were varied: in truth, wasn't that an effect of the ship, bringing seemingly different kinds of people together?

Alessa laughed at Sherry's tone. "You sound like I'm trying to take her away! I wouldn't worry about that, though, trust me. People tend to avoid me in general, and Roxie only knows me a little. I'm sure she would find you all more fun."

Alessa knew enough the verdict of her interactions with the crew: small spurts, and then back to her place in Silent Hill. It wsa hardly the blueprints to lasting relationships.
