Hap-py? What is? [Open, but expect slowish tagging]

After the holiday planet, someone's gotten a cheering up. It seems that Jaime Reyes is finally turning his bad mood around, finally recovering some from the bridge run, finally coming to terms with everything.

It's helped that he's taken time to grieve, but having taken time on the mission to just help others has helped even more.

In fact, Jaime's used his spending money for presents. Some of it for people he knows, but he also picked up stuff he could give to just anyone on the ship, and he intends to just...give them stuff to cheer up whoever needs it.

So, Meatship, there is short Latino teen going around the ship giving random people presents. Enjoy!

"Who wants cookies?"

"Hmn? Oh I suppose so." Samus partially dematerializes her suit, her helmet and arm cannon seemingly dissolving back into her skin. She pulls out a sugar cookie, cautiously taking a bite.

She gives a curious 'hmn!' as she chews. Quite enjoyable. She mutters something, "I think my mother made these one time," before realizing she actually said that outloud.

Her face returns to her normal indifferent expression. She seems to be saying 'you heard nothing, Jaime.'

For the extraordinarily long time Samus had been in possession of this armor, no one had ever asked her that. Seriously. It takes her by a surprise a bit, but she's willing to talk about it. Her armor had never been one of her big secrets.

"I suppose under my skin would be the logical answer," she flexes her hand; the cannon materializes back around it, "But I'm not sure that's accurate. It's... complicated, I guess."

"Hmn. I guess the simplest explanation would just be that it's not so much armor as it is just an extension of myself. It only works as long as I'm focused on making it work."

She extends her fingers again, turning her palm over, musing about the exact inner workings of her armor. "No one's ever actually asked me about it, and I've had it for so long, I never really thought about it too much."
