After the holiday planet, someone's gotten a cheering up. It seems that Jaime Reyes is finally turning his bad mood around, finally recovering some from the bridge run, finally coming to terms with everything.

It's helped that he's taken time to grieve, but having taken time on the mission to just help others has helped even more.

In fact, Jaime's used his spending money for presents. Some of it for people he knows, but he also picked up stuff he could give to just anyone on the ship, and he intends to just...give them stuff to cheer up whoever needs it.

So, Meatship, there is short Latino teen going around the ship giving random people presents. Enjoy!

That was a perfectly reasonable answer, but Fletcher still can't help feeling a little guilty. But. Well. Someone is offering him cookies, he might as well. "Thank you very much!"

He only takes three, though.

"Aw, c'mon, little guy, you can have more than that if you want," Jaime says, smiling gently. "I'm making sure all you kids get lots of them."

This kid is adorable.

"Well... okay. I should bring some to my brother anyway."

So he grabs a few more. ...he does like cookies, after all.

"So, are you doing okay?" Jaime asks. "This place tends to be kinda scary for the kids--I mean it's scary to all us grown ups too. Do you have somebody that takes care of you?"

The kids need at least someone to support them.

Cookies go in pocket, except for one, which he starts nibbling on. He nods at the question. "I'm... okay. It's a little scary, but my big brother's here, so I'll be okay."

Fletcher would like to think the adults aren't scared, but he knows his brother well enough that he can tell Russel is just as terrified. And if Russel's scared, well, anyone would be scared.

"Good. I mean, that you have family. Not that I'd want my family here since it's not the nicest place and they're probably safer asleep--" Or back home. "--but it'd be nice to see them again."

"Y-yeah..." He fidgets a little, finishing the cookie off. "I guess he'd be safer if he was asleep, but he can help more this way." Russel will be a bigger help than Fletcher, anyway. "And-- you'll see your family again, right? All our family and friends are supposed to be here."

"Yeah. Yeah, we'll all see them all again."

He gives Fletcher a reassuring smile.
