Meet and Greet Part Deux: The Socialing
The new people will find themselves ushered out of Obs Deck, so it can be shot down to the planet again, to pick the crew up. Eventually, the crew members on the mission are brought back up, and the doors open to let the two groups meet.
The newbies are likely not expecting their new crew-mates to come back bearing presents--which some of them are.
[ooc: This time anyone can post in. REMEMBER TO TAG OTHER PEOPLE, THO. This is set after the mission so mission peoples can meet the newbies. Latecomer newbies, if you want, you can just tag your guys into this one to make things easier.]

"Mission accomplished. How else would it have gone?" She grinned down at him as if to say 'I was there after all.' "I got you something."

Women. Is he right?
no subject
And she would probably agree with him, to be honest.

"Hey, it fits!" He waved his arms around as he tested his range of motion. "Thanks, Kelly." Oh yeah, he looks like a total badass with his shades and this jacket. Babe magnet city too, if he weren't taken by his totally awesome and monogamous long-term girlfriend who could kick his ass.

Really, she'd never done the whole gift giving thing before. But she was glad it was going well. She enjoyed it.

"I don't have anything for you, though..." That was no good. He'd have to think of something to give Kelly. It wouldn't be right if he didn't return the favor!
no subject
"Really, it's no problem." She laughed, taking a step back to get a better look at him. "It looks good on you."
When he spoke again though, she just smiled and waved a hand airily. "Don't worry about it. I'm good, really." She hadn't expected to get anything at all really. She was just glad she could spread the joy she'd seen manifested down on that planet up here on the ship.

"At least some people are. I'm just confused right now. My sister is being super weird. But then again, she's my sister, so weird is kind of normal..."
no subject
"Your sister?" A pause. "Weird how? I wouldn't say I'm an authority on all things female," she smirked, "but I might have an idea."

"I just don't want her to get hurt."
no subject
"Besides, if anything does happen, I'm sure we can save her. And lay serious hurt on whoever's responsible for it in the process."
no subject
"She just...when she thinks she's right nothing is gonna stop her. Not me or my dad or anyone. Maybe Aang." He smiled gave Kelly a pat on the back in return, refraining from a slap since he doesn't want to break his hand.
"Yeah. Not like the captain will let anything happen to her."
no subject
"I think you'll find that most women are that way. But that my friend," She grinned down at him, "is because we're usually right anyway."
"Definitely. And she's got friends watching over her too. She'll be fine."
