Brawling the Night Away [OPEN]
Shadow would admit it - he wasn't a very social person. If he did anything, it was probably because someone dragged him into it or he had something to prove, but for the most part, he tend to shy away from hanging around others. What he wouldn't admit, though, was that he was starting to enjoy some of the company around.
For now, though, he'd find a bit of solace in some training. He didn't have the colorful collection of threats that this Sonic knew, so he preferred to use threats he knew from his world - namely the machines the peace-keeping organization G.U.N. had sent him. And with the sensoriums being the best place to find them (since they could be easily created), Shadow didn't waste any time in starting up a training program.
Flanked from all sides were hovering Beetle-type machines, some of them armed with cannons, and bipedal Hunter series, all armed with cannons and some with shields to boot.
Shadow briefly nodded before the machines kicked alive, firing away and attempting to encircle and trap Shadow. The hedgehog wouldn't let them do so, spinning through them with ease. As some fell, others took their place.
He had to be on his guard, though - not only could they get him good at any time, he was afraid someone was walk in and get caught in the crossfire. He just hope that, if someone did, Stacy would stop the simulation.

She gestured to herself. "What you see is a distorted version of that girl, but one that chose to serve her purpose and create a truth in that world, and that truth became Silent Hill."

Shadow's expression turned a bit grim upon hearing that. "So, we're pretty much two sides of a coin. I was created to protect and help and you were brought about to destroy and punish." A smirk formed on his face. "And yet, here we are, on board this craft. Our purposes are the same, but our targets are different. Funny how things work out..."

Alessa smiled. "I am not sure what I will do on this craft yet. My future is uncertain, only that I know I am drawn to recreating Silent Hill again. It is the only home that I feel comfortable now."

"Though I must ask something - it seems that every time I do something, you're there. When I was relaxing, when I was training just now, the..." his face turned red. "...mistletoe incident. Am I really that interesting? Most people wouldn't care to hang around someone like me. Not a good conversation holder." He blinked a bit before adding, "At times."

Alessa gave him a raised eyebrow, with just the hint of a smile. "I don't necessarily equate a lot of speaking with having something to say. I happen to be perfectly fine with your company. I prefer it."
no subject
"You prefer... my company?" Shadow said. A small smile formed on his face before he continued. "Well, then... I wouldn't mind being with yours, either."
no subject
And she knew that was all that needed to be said. She and he were of few words.
"You might regret that," Alessa warned. "Though if you haven't run screaming from me now, I'd say yo have a fair chance."
