Greet the (New) Meat! (no, don't eat them!)

By hook or by crook or by avoiding hook and crook, the crew assembled from the previous podpops eventually made it up to the Living Area to greet their new crew mates. The creepy sculpture was also there, though less to greet them than it was always there.

The strange, fleshy seating had multiplied. You really, really don't want to know how.

Tobias followed him, glad as well for the better privacy. He could go back then to regular talking, as well as not having to worry about being overheard. He listened to Ax's questions, understanding the Andalite's state of mind at the moment.

"I know what you mean, I wish it wasn't either" he replied in regular speech. Ax asked about the last thing Tobias remembered before being captured. "It's fuzzy. I'm not totally sure really. What about you? If we were together maybe it'll jog my memory." He sighed "I wish the others were here. Wherever here is"

(ooc I guess he could in morph maybe. Don't know how you'd fit it on a hawk though lol)

He sighed heavily, a human affectation. < I do not know if telling you what happened recently to me will be of much help. This ship apparently travels in time as well as space, and through dimensional barriers. >

Ax didn't want to talk about what had happened on the USS George Washington if he could possibly help it.

Quarantining? The high command was going to quarantine Earth? Condemn its people to slavery under the Yeerks?

There was no way that would work. Humans were dangerous hosts; they were far too intelligent, too tenacious to remain trapped on a single planet with Yeerk minds driving them and Yeerk technology available. What was the high command thinking?

I have also encountered the character Xander Harris from that Buffy TV show Marco is so fond of, apparently from a point in the future. >

He frowned thoughtfully. < I do not know what effect this could have on the time stream for us. I doubt that it will cause your present to be wiped -- I imagine that Stacy would find that counter-productive. >
