Today in the Sensoriums, the backdrop of battlegrounds or scenes from home that Zouichi usually chooses to conjure up has been replaced by a grassy hill overlooking a large, clear lake. There's a small island in the middle of the water, upon which an immense old tree -- rather similar to an Earth Zelkova -- stands tall, its branches expanding outward, as if reaching into the ages.
It's twilight, and the air is slowly darkening from red-gold into the deeper blues and violets of evening. As it does so, the great river of stars that stretch across the sky, no longer obscured by daytime's brightness, slowly come into view. The water of the lake mirrors this scene onto itself, until it seems that two bands of starlight have convened, for a single moment, at one spot -- here, at the center of the world.
Zouichi stands on the hill overlooking the lake, waiting.

( OOC: As well as a couple days after this log. )After the failed attempt with Xtreme, at least in her eyes, Hoshi wondered what could be wrong with her unable to sustain the henshin for as long as she could with the other forms. Although, on one of the days where she busied herself around Stacy, she came upon the answer. Of course it had to be that! Her endurance and stamina waned because she went without a good beyblade match in months. Sure, she trained during the mornings as well as a little bit at night, but without some good old fashioned beyblading, which was high intensity and fast paced all on its' own, she wouldn't be in her tip top shape that she normally would be. And so, that's what led her to the Sensoriums once more. It wouldn't have the same effect as it would back home, but she would try her best to replicate it. The walls dissipated for an arena, just like the one she found here on Stacy, but instead of just one opponent, she was up against three beybladers. Then, with a swift movement, she grabbed both her beyblade out of its' pouch and her launcher, setting the two of them up. She stood with her beyblade with the tip pointed up to the ceiling, her legs spread out. After a three second countdown, all of the beybladers released their respective beyblades into the dish, ready to give it their all. "You can do it, Seraphiel! Show them what for!" she called out, ready to get her game backto where it was normally. Care to watch or ask what she's doing?

With Celena and Aibghalien's help, Thom looked better than he had since he'd arrived on the ship. The dark circles under his eyes weren't as pronounced, and his fever had cooled slightly.
But there was still a long way to go before he had his Gift under control again, and Roger's magic still raved at the back of his mind, pressing on his temper. He had taken to the less used parts of the ship, trying to keep himself away from any people who might try his patience.
Hydroponics remained his favorite spot for meditation, near Alastirra's garden. He and the draenei had formed a cautious friendship of sorts - the kind where they mostly left each other alone, with the occasional conversation about magical theories between their disciplines. More often than not, Thom spent his time in deep meditation, dropped into his center of magic and slowly pulling his and Roger's magic away from each other.
Sweat dripped down his forehead as he worked, and suddenly he jumped up from his customary seat on a stump and whirled around, throwing out his hand. A ball of orange flame leapt from his fingertips and scorched a blackened groove in the wood.
"Damn." | |

While Clark counted himself lucky that his Earth, at least at this point, had no supervillains, there was a minor downside to living in a world without a Luthor. Namely, Clark didn't even have an educated guess as to what his limits were. Something, as it became more and more obvious he was here for the long haul, he should probably figure out.
"More." He said, calling to the sensorium to add even more weight to the already massive object he was currently lifting. He was starting to feel some strain, but not enough to quit.

The trip down was uneventful. The view was gorgeous when the viewing window shields were raised again when they were through the atmosphere, especially as they passed down to Megalopolis, the simply-named giant city that was this world's capital. To the Earthlings there, the continents of this world would look vastly familiar, but that didn't mean anything, did it?
Eventually the sparkling city spires of the mega-city, interspersed with flying traffic, rose up to meet them, and Obs Deck, attached by its massive shielded umbilical cord, deposited them at the Council's private spaceport. It retreated back up to Stacy after they'd disembarked.
This world was a gorgeous world, that much they could likely tell while standing there on the landing pad, looking at the rounded curves of the beautifully designed spaceport. Buildings rose up above them in shades of white, paneled with multi-colored glass, in creative architectural designs. The air traffic weaved neatly in endless lines between buildings, and the overcast sky was in shades of orange and pink, with occasional slips of a bright blue peeking through.
The Council of Five was waiting for them in person, clearly glad to see them all, dressed in resplendent clothing.
"Welcome to the Megalopolis, our capital city, and welcome to Galilee. We are the Council of Five, and we're honored by your presence."

The crew had made it to the village where the Tapestry was supposedly hidden, but for now, they had to wait. According to the Rom, the path to where the Tapestry was hidden would only open once night fell. That left them with a fairly good chunk of time on their hands, as well as a rather large Rom settlement to explore in the meantime. It was rather hard to believe the expansive village was completely isolated from the outside world, but somehow it still thrived. Many younger Rom could be seen flying to and from the many small buildings built right into the forest. Despite the fairly advanced look of all the technology spread throughout the village, everything appeared to be rather ancient. Still, there was quite a bit to do to pass the time. The central marketplace of the village was rather active, and the crew could always use more supplies. There were also a number of places to get food and drinks. Most of all, it would be a good opportunity to learn more about the Tapestry and the Rom--along with their connection with the crew's destiny--by asking around. After all, if they were going through all this trouble for the damn thing, they might as well find out more about it. - Tags:!location: planetside, !plot: the tapestry, aibghalien marsai, aqua, celena vantari, eleventh doctor, hoshi hikari, leon s. kennedy, namira amell, ron stoppable, sasami masaki jurai, scarlet witch, sofia

There were not many places on the ship for a seven foot tall purple person to hide, but at the moment, Alastirra was earnestly trying.
She fervently hoped that the corner of Hydroponics she had found was far enough from her garden so that people would miss her. Thankfully, she was not entirely alone--her mistsaber had practically pushed her down and lay atop her.
For the moment, she let him, her only protest being a weak "Snowspot, you're too big to sit in my lap any more."
Not that it deterred the cat one bit.
At least it hid the streaks and the purple-blue blotches on her face that showed she'd been crying.
