At Cassie's house, it was just another average, normal day.

Well, except for the fact that two of the residents had regressed to being eight-year-olds and were currently throwing the house into complete and utter chaos, that is.

Time to shake things up.

Today the Sensorium took on the appearance of a forested valley, surrounded by tall mountains and rolling hills. Small hints indicated that this was still a Netherworldly environment -- for example, some of the trees had faces, and the innocent woodland critters that bounded through the trees and grasses had a distinctly demonic cast. Also one was a Lvl.979 Squirrel God for no adequately explored reason.

In the middle of this peaceful, serene scene, the Overlord had camped out, feet kicked up on a convenient rock by a babbling brook. (The rest of him was on a freakin' huge beanbag chair. It was comfy.)

But, as he had promised his students, the Overlord had brought a guest trainer today...

With enough diligence and care, Starfire firmly believed, it was possible to learn most any skill. She wasn't always as firm with herself as she needed to be about learning things such as preparing palatable food for her crewmates, correctly understanding English idioms, or backing away when someone needed to be cheered up, but for a friend? Anything was worth the effort for a dear friend.
Even this, the most frustrating grind she knew. )
