Transmigration 9: Brave New Worlds
Pan-fandom, SciFi, and Screwed-Up

Even with the small amount of time Amy had spent on Stacy so far, she'd still had plenty of time to observe the comings and goings of the crew. Seeing so many of them as children, especially when she knew a good portion of them as adults, was a little past the point of peculiar. Travels with the Doctor tended to lean toward the strange side of things, so she guessed she should probably be used to it by now.

The really odd part, though, was not the many children now running around the ship (screaming, almost all of them, wow), but the one small child who seemed to have adopted her fiance, and who wouldn't leave Rory's side for anything. It was alright with her. With the Doctor on his mission, having something to patter around the TARDIS that wasn't Jamie's little feet (yeah, still weird, that) was kind of nice, even if it wasn't necessarily normal. Getting him to go to bed was almost as bad as getting the Doctor to sleep, too, it seemed.

Amy held the door to their bedroom open, the bunkbeds obvious in the room behind her. "Come on, then, the room's all ready for you."
05:44 pm - Busy as a bird?
Tim was keeping himself busy enough-- not that this was much change from normal, admittedly, but he was certainly occupied now. Between his work in various departments, keeping an eye on Conner, gathering information, training, or otherwise, he was (again, not surprisingly) spending most of his time in his Red Robin costume, out and working in one way or another. Most of his rest, small amount though it was, was done in his little hideaway in the city, and most of his meals were taken while he worked on some project or another.

He was refusing to take any downtime-- there wasn't time for that, there was too much he could do or work on-- and, quite frankly, he didn't want to be lingering in his crew quarters. Red Robin was far too busy.

((ooc: This post is just a generic 'Tim is running around doing everything' post-- so feel free to run into him anywhere you want! He's working in his departments (Engineering [General, Neuropathy, Programming] and Security), training in the city and Sensoriums, researching in the library, working on his motorcycle in the hangar, and even spending a bit of time in the TARDIS. Catching him between things is good too, if you'd like-- and time is flexible. So basically, anything goes. :3))

He'd been spending a lot of time in the lab. Maybe too much, but the end results really would be worth it all. He still had to figure out a way to make a certain delivery to a certain pilot, but Stephen had decided that it was past time for him to work on something he wanted to work on.

So at one end of his garage-turned-workshop, there are two Tesla coils sparking merrily, while a helmeted, chain mail-clad Stephen is bent over a guitar with a soldering gun.

What he is doing quickly becomes obvious when he steps back towards the Tesla coils and actually starts to play the guitar.

(That's right, Stephen is putting on something like a concert. Other examples of what he ends up doing can be found here and here. Feel free to drop in on him!)
