At Cassie's house, it was just another average, normal day.
Well, except for the fact that two of the residents had regressed to being eight-year-olds and were currently throwing the house into complete and utter chaos, that is.

LEGO!!!!

Rachel strode into the living room with all the pride and confidence that an eight-year-old could muster, looking over to the little boy who was currently her only playmate, and what he was doing.
"That's stupid," she said, kicking a few of the lego bricks to the side in order to crouch near it. "I bet you I could build a better one."

"I'm not 'some girl'!" Rachel exclaimed, voice raising a couple notches as she shouted it. He couldn't just assume that he was better than her, or that she didn't know what a spaceship was like. "I'll build a better spaceship. And mine'll beat yours in a space battle!" She was serious about this.

Though just in case, Marco was going to start picking up some more Lego pieces to add to his spaceship, just to make it even better.

"Shut up!" Rachel said angrily. "My spaceship's gonna be way better than yours, you'll see." And, without waiting another moment, she began to pull a bunch of pieces towards her, in order to start building the ship in question. She was going to prove Marco wrong, because hers was going to be awesome.

"Hey, that's mine!" Rachel said, as indignantly as an eight-year-old could manage. She shot her hand out faster, making a valiant effort to grab it before Marco could. "You can't have it."

Who needs bedtime, when you can play tag instead?

The sound was followed by a similar one: a young Rachel giggling as well, as she ran through the house to chase after Marco, intent on catching him. Because she was definitely not going to let him be right win. "Yes I can!" she shouted, diving after him with her clearly superior speed.

"Not me!" Rachel practically shrieked, peeling off away from Eva when the woman appeared in their way. No way was she going to let her catch her! She didn't need to go to bed at all.
"I bet you you'll have to eat broccoli!" she giggled. She still had to win this!

Rachel paused in the doorway for long enough to let Marco whisper to her, and she grinned at that. "Yeah! I bet you he needs his veggies," she agreed, before she too dashed off again. Running away from Eva, she shouted back at her, the words almost lost in snickers. "You're 'it' now, Marco's mom!"

This, naturally, made Ax nervous. Yes they couldn't morph anymore, but that didn't mean that they weren't up to something either dangerous or...messy. Or maybe they were napping. Either way, it was worth checking up on them.

Which is why Marco and Rachel were so quiet - because the game they were currently playing was 'let's try to sneak up behind the Andalite' game. Marco himself was currently hiding under a table, waiting to jump out at Ax when he came nearby.

A blue space pony was much more exciting than a nap.
Rachel was hiding, too, behind a chair near where Marco hid, waiting for Ax. It was kind of like hide and seek-- only the goal was actually to catch an alien.

However, he didn't know their plans, so apparently they'd have to figure that out for themselves. He stepped into the room, peering about with all four eyes for signs of human children.
And he stepped on a small plastic building block. He quickly picked his leg up again, before his hoof attempted to start digesting it.

Already destabilized by the plastic toy, Ax recoiled, whacked his tail hard against the door frame, and fell over. And then Marco landed on top of him.
Marco and Rachel were never going to let him forget this.

"Ahhh!" Rachel shouted, a makeshift battle cry as she launched herself at Ax, too, mere seconds behind Marco's own assault. She squealed as she landed on him next to Marco, before she made her demands: "Give us a ride!"
