It wasn't that Caprica had been avoiding anyone or her duties as a team leader. She hadn't meant to be, honestly, but there was a lot of stuff in her own mind that she needed to come to terms with first. Days had been spent exploring the city that was open for members of the assorted crew and a good portion of that had been in the various churches that were there. Humans were so diverse in their sense of belief that it fascinated her to no end regarding the vast range of, well, everything. It wasn't fascinating, however, at how they dealt with other aspects of life.

Walking into the precinct that she had learned was recently discovered in the city she took one quick glance about noting how much different it was than the brig on Galactica or any of the other ships in the fleet. Exits were noted, possible places people could be at, everything she could manage in one look. Caprica could already tell it was a place she would not wish to be all things considered if it wasn't for one thing: Sam.

"I was right," the Cylon said in her silk smooth voice as she stepped up to the bars once the guard had left, "to pin you for a trouble maker." Light humor painted her words taking what little bite of disappointment might have been hidden with them. Oh how he reminded her slightly of Gaius and with that point there was no doubt someone, or something, was probably listening.

Shawn had actually become interested in something aside from complaining about his current predicament. Name the first actual case of what could be called crime on the ship. True, it had already been solved, without any help from himself, which was kind of annoying. But it was still in his general area of expertise. And so, he had may the trek down to the precinct to talk to Sam.

"You're retarded, you know that?"

Did we say talk? We meant bother.
Jonas stood alone on the Observation Deck, quietly staring up at the statue as he waited for the arrival of his new teammates. He wasn't entirely sure why he had been named the team leader, but he was capable of the position when it came down to it; and so he wanted to deal with the potential problems before they became actual problems.

First off, he needed to talk with Gambit and Spider-Man, and make sure they weren't going to have any difficulties with his leadership. They were both adults after all, and Spider-Man was...Spider-Man. After that was dealt with, he needed to meet the rest of the team and get an idea of their skills and temperament. He already had a head start, as he knew and had already worked with Kate and Cassie.

But, first things first: Gambit and Spider-Man.
