Medbay on Level One
Down below the Pod Caverns was the Medbay. Most of the crew had been down there before, for one reason or another. The parts of it they had access to were currently empty of life -- and, as a matter of fact, empty of undeath as well.
They might be able to find something down here that would help them. Hey, it couldn't hurt. This was the Medbay, wasn't it?

"Very good news, Miss Hinasaki. You only have a severe case of bruising, physically. Take these with a glass of water, and you'll feel at least good enough to walk around in the morning." His smile continued. He was a warm and genuine human being.
"I would give you a lollipop for being a good patient, but my kit didn't come with them." His smile widened into a grin.

Chopper watched Peter deal with Miku, impressed by his check-up of her. He seemed like a really nice guy and he even offered a lollipop! Are doctors meant to offer lollipops? He'd never seen a doctor like that before. Even Dr Kureha, his teacher, only offered him knives.
Then he snapped back to what the mean looking human with the spikey hair was saying. He didn't want to answer the question but everyone was answering, so he felt obliged to. "I-I'm Tony Tony Chopper," Chopper started off timidly. He'd seen the looks Kadaj and Kazuya had thrown him. It was scary. "I'm a d-doctor." That last word came out unsure.
As usual, Chopper was discrediting his own ability. How could he say he was a doctor after being so easily impressed by Peter's professionalism?

The red eye gleamed slightly at Middleman's mention of 'comic book evil,' as Kazuya filed this one away for future surveillance. Perhaps this one knew something about the Devil Gene, after all.
As for his response to their questions, "Kazuya Mishima. Chief Executive Officer of the G Corporation, and Commander of one of the world's strongest military presences." He then turns on Kadaj, put off by his blatant ignoring of his order and walked over to the silver-haired man, and aimed a backhand-fist at his chin, hoping to snap him out of his little stroll down memory lane.

The remnant pressed the blade just slightly at the nape of the man’s neck. Hard enough to be felt but soft enough not to pierce flesh. “I am Kadaj,” he made direct eye contact. “And I am capable of destroying you.~” There, question answered!
A bullet shot to Kadaj wouldn’t injure him all that much. Then he laughed. He laughed like the eternal youth that only teenagers could possessive. With an excellent display of skill he twirled his sword and held it once by more his side.
“Stay out of my way, Kazuya Mishima.” Despite the seriousness of the threat it was lathered in Kadaj’s own personal amusement. If he had to fight, so be it. . But this pathetic life form really wasn’t worth any of his time.
Without a care for whatever anyone else thought the remnant simply turned away and went back to his investigation of the odd bioweapons.

"You said doctor? Mind keeping an eye on Miss Hinasaki? I'd hate to have given her a clean bill only to have her go into shock, and another pair of eyes is always good." He strolled over between Kawalsky and Kazuya, shooting both a quick glare as he moved to Kadaj.
"Hitting and screaming isn't going to help us any, guys. If you're so bored you have to hit things, go back out with the zombies." He looked directly at Kadaj. Maybe some bruising, no broken skin, not even worth the advil. "We have to work together until this is over. After that, go ahead and fight to your heart's content for all I care."

"Yes, I am a commander, and I do not tolerate people who simply ignore the world around them. If we're getting out of this alive, we're going to need to work like a well oiled machine."
And to Kadaj, he added, clenching a fist, lightning dancing around his fist. "Threaten me again, and I will show you why I'm one of the most feared men alive."

Her weird, huge pistol-thing has started to inch upwards from the at-rest position she was holding it in.

Kazuya turns on Chopper and Peter, leveling an appraising eye at the medics. "The two of you better start making your choice fast. Lives are on the line. The people who decide to stay here are as good as dead anyway."

"No one... Is dying... On my watch..." Peter said, breathing heavily. "Not even you. So guard the door. Silently. And deal with the fact that there are two of us at least who care about the others enough to not let that happen." He was ennervated by this guy. He reminded Peter too much of his future self.

The amazing paramedic asked him, Tony Tony Chopper to look after Hinasaki!? He was surprised but was already keeping an eye on her - his doctor insticts already prompting him to.
Those guys were really scary! It made Chopper wish that he was together with the Straw Hat Pirates again who could make things safer for him. Not to mention he missed them.
"I-I'm already d-done!!" He said tugging on his backpack to show that he was ready.

"I said it once, and I'll say it again. I'm not standing here and letting hordes of the undead bust through the wall and rip us to shreds. I'm going out there, and finding some kind of other help. We've already established that there are others in here, but I'm not going to force anyone to come with me."
He stepped forward, glaring down at Peter, his red eye flaring dangerously. "So either step aside, or come with me. I do not tolerate anything standing in my way. And I have no qualms with doing away with morons who refuse to move."
He glanced over his shoulder, noticing Chopper's readiness to move. "Tony Chopper, was it? If you're coming, let's get moving. If need be, I can carry you. Hopefully we will find some others that have a better grasp on the concept of survival."

"And what if they're not all the kind of zombies that have to bite? I've seen a horror movie or two. The don't all work like that. For all we know, you touching the wrong one could make you into one of them." He shook his head. "You're being an ass, but not enough to where I'm going to let you go off for the slaughter."

"And what of the people in this Vatican? If their position is compromised, then they're dead. Plain and simple. Their numbers should be more than concentrated on going after the threat they know about. Leaving their rear wide open. And once their position is overrun, where do you think they'll head next? We'll have lost our only allies, as well as being surrounded."
He didn't want to give away too much of what he was capable of, just in case these people did make themselves into enemies, but Peter was giving him no choice. He lowered his voice to just barely above a whisper as he spoke to the self-styled 'mimic.'
"And you of all people, right now, should know very well that it would take more than a mere touch to make me into one of them."

"Fine, cowards. Just sit in here and wait for death to come to you. I shape my own future." And with that, Kazuya makes his way towards the exit, leaving medbay, and instantly throwing himself into the fray.

Chopper watched Kazuya walked away. He really wanted to pull that scary man back in... but he was too scary and Chopper didn't want to mess with him.
The reindeer thought that staying behind with everyone was a safer idea than leaving and finding zombies to kill. And if they were to come under attack, they'd need all the help they could get. For all his insecurities, Chopper knew deep down that he hold up his own in a fight.
"So.. what now?"

Which was closer to the reality than she'd wished to consider. She watched Kazuya leave and felt a sick twist in her stomach, not helped at all by the silver-haired Kadaj's terrible insanity (there was no sane person, none, that sounded the way he did). She smiled again at Tony and Tess.
It worked a little better this time. "If we're going to stay in here, and there may be people, ah, arriving, is there anything we, well, I," she looked down at her small, laced together hands, Miku's voice small and unintimidating, "might be able to do to help? I... I don't have any medical training, but... I can organize and prepare." Very, very, very well, they would learn.
If Peter allowed her to, anyway.
