Chris went over his equipment for the third time in the last three minutes. He wasn't scared really. Nervous was more the word. Though he had to admit, it was good to be going back into action again. The prospect of something new and different from what he was familiar with, both frightened slightly and excited him.

Still, it was with mixed feelings that he had consented to the team assignments. Half of him was glad that Claire and Jill would be staying behind, but the other half wanted them to come along so he could personally see to their safety. The latter half had eventually been suppressed enough to concentrate on the fight ahead, though he still needed to find his sister, partner, and Leon.

There were things that needed to be said, just in case.
