Yet Another Shadow In The Halls (Open)

Shadow Link was already making a list. City: Avoid at all costs. Sunlight was a painful, painful thing and yet another place that nearly blinded him. Media Library: Only when it was nearly empty. He could take the lighting, but his powers were far too depleted there. He checked the Med Bay just to know where it was and really, he was only going there for emergencies for others because going there with it's 'good lighting' would just be dumping salt on whatever injuries he had.

He was pondering getting to know a doctor. Find one that was trust worthy because there was no way in hell he was gonna tell them all that lovely little weakness of his.

He decided maybe the lockers would be a good place to waste time. Not so annoyingly bright and he might find some useful stuff. He even some a hat in a few he looked in, so he at least deemed it fine to make his own hat again. He still had to decide whether he wanted attention by getting rid of the plantsuit, but maybe if he found that clothing WAS somewhere in those lockers. Of course, he still had more of the ship to explore. He just had to be careful of entering rooms so he didn't get blinded again. Having that happen twice was enough and he really didn't like hurting his eyes.

So he kept wondering the halls, pondering if he should check out this 'engineering.' Supposedly it had something to do with all the weird....things here. Like the device they gave out at the meeting. He was still trying to figure out how a box let people talk to people.

How could anyone get any real rest in those bunks? Trunks supposed that it was practical arrangements considering the population, but geez those things were sure cramped. It bothered him that waking up suddenly in the middle of the night could result in a head injury. That actually almost happened, but he was able to catch himself before his head met with the vibrating ceiling.

He needed to stretch, and eventually get to the mess hall. That's why he was out and about in the halls. He still hadn't done much exploring of the ship himself, and he blamed it on his own laziness. It wasn't often he was allowed to be lazy, so needless to say he was taking advantage of it.

Maybe if he was lucky, he'd bump into someone interesting while he out and about.

"Whoa, sorry!" Trunks apologized quickly. He barely saw the shorter boy waltz into him, and also hardly felt when he was bumped into. Accidents happen.

Speaking of people...Trunks made note of the odd shape of the other boy's ears. He hadn't quite seen a person with pointed ears before. Nameks, anthros, yea, but not people.

Alien?

Wouldn't surprise him, they were in space after all. Now that he thought about it, this was the first time he'd ever been in space. Funny, he's been time traveling, but never in space before.

Oh wait, he was letting his thoughts take over him again, he was kinda supposed to be in a conversation now.

"Hylian? Hnnn, haven't heard of that one," Trunks admitted. "What planet?"

Trunks lifted his arms, and shrugged. He shook his head a bit. "Sorry, don't have any where I'm from. Mostly humans for the most part. Few anthro creatures, and once in awhile some sort of alien will visit now and then. But nothing called a Hylian."
