Sunshine [Open!]

After a little while, without time, without the sun and the moon, days wandering through the halls, eating only when necessary, hydrating only when one could not get out of it, and most definitely not sleeping in cubbies, the corridors looked all the same. It was easy to completely lose track of time.

Stepping out into sudden sunlight and air is shocking, but welcome, despite his misgivings about daylight. Something natural was better than endless corridors of a living machine. This was, of course, some sort of trick, but it was one of the AI's more pleasant ones. A level of his stress already began to drain from him as he wandered through it. He was fairly certain Connor had mentioned--might have even shown him it--but he couldn't say for sure how many days it had been.

So he wandered, and explored. Because Sergeant Kyle Reese had never been very good at sitting down and relaxing, even when he was arguably somewhat exhausted. He moved until he couldn't. Then he found somewhere hidden and less than deadly to sleep in. He still had quite a while in him before then.

Plenty of time to explore the city.

The City is the slightly creepy kind of quiet, but Marcus will take what he can get for now. He'd rather be away from large groups of people... or just away from people, period. The team idea is kind of stretching the limits of how much he's willing to cooperate with a group, which is not much at all.

Also, the last time he saw the real sky it was an unpleasant brownish color. This is much more pleasant (and much less nuclear apocalypse-y), even if it isn't real. The Statuary, on the other hand, is very much real, and Marcus is currently standing near the doorway debating whether or not to go in.

Marcus and Kyle could probably carry on a whole conversation in suspicious glares if they had to. As it is, Marcus just settles for giving him a slightly suspicious look and then entering the Statuary.

Nor was Kyle the only one who found himself far more comfortable in the city than in the halls of the ship, for he might see a young woman sitting on a bench, speaking to what looked like a red jewel she wore as a pendant - and she didn't look entirely happy.

"It's all right, Raising Heart. If there's a limiter put on your abilities... then there must be some way to release it. We'll find out what it is soon enough."

Edgeworth had managed to wander out into the city, as well. At this point, he hardly cared where he was. The sunshine was so welcome to him, in contrast to the disturbing architecture of the ship, that he'd almost decided to just stay here for however long this 'hallucination' lasted. It was pleasant enough that he'd almost dozed off on one of the benches, but he'd decided that wasn't the best idea, and had instead resorted to studying the occasional person who passed by.

Hm. It was a bit awkward when the other man noticed him, and it was certainly rude to stare. He was slowly coming to terms with the fact that, yes, most or all of the things he'd seen so far were real. Edgeworth had to at least accept that, or else he'd be stuck at ground zero. If he accepted that, then, the first logical thing to do would be gathering some information.

"Er, hello there." ...It was a start.
