Anyone entering Contagion at pretty much any time of the day that Topher isn't eating or fitfully sleeping will see him hovering around an odd sort of chair, inputting settings on the touchpad at the head of the chair simply to run diagnostics. He'd been doing everything he could to make sure it wasn't completely ruined, except for running actual imprints.

Now, Topher's moving on to a bigger test. He's got Victor in the chair, and the two of them are more at ease there than they have been since waking up. This is normal, and Topher never thought he'd be saying this but Victor's stupid smile when he'd asked him if he wanted a treatment actually made him happy.

"Okay, here we go. It's like, fourth down and-- other sports metaphors that make sense. Let's hit a homer!" The chair hums with power as Topher queues up an imprint and the little corner he found his tech in glows a bit blue.

[ooc: light godmoding permissions on Victor from Kristi, but let us know if you'd like to interact with any imprints ^^]

Victor hasn't been sleeping well. Nightmares have plagued him and woken him up night after night. That meant of course that no one else in his little pack have slept well either. It's only through a great deal of patience on Topher's part that Victor is still Victor instead of one of his other more dangerous imprints. He's on edge and unconciously making an attempt to keep things 'status quo' so that he doesn't glitch out.

Right now, Victor is on the observation deck paying a great deal of attention to the wall. He tilts his head this way and that, brow furrowing then smoothing. He's obviously very seriously considering something. After a moment he puts his hand on the wall and speaks in a clear, polite (if a bit monotone) voice.

"I would like pancakes, please."

The only real thing Victor had a problem with on the ship was the food.

[ooc: Feel free to intercept him, tell him he can't have pancakes, whatever.]

Not long after the last pod-pop, the more observant among the crew might have noticed a rather slight change in the ship's decor:

Spider webs.

In the dark corners of the rooms and underneath some of the "furniture", there were several fairly unassuming webs.

Perhaps the strangest part about it, though, is that while one can find these webs all over the living area, there seem to be far more in the areas people frequent more often: The Obs Deck, the cafeteria, the sleeping areas...in all of these places, one could find webs in almost every corner of the room.

If you were lucky, one might be able to even catch a glimpse of one of the spiders who spun said webs, though as soon as you saw them, they'd scurry back into the darkness, almost as if they knew you noticed them.

Now, however, no matter how hard you looked, nor how much you scanned, you wouldn't be able to find the spiders anymore.

Instead, there is a man, standing in Obs Deck, staring out the window. He certainly wasn't among the recent wave of new arrivals...so who could he be?
