Who: Fuu and OPEN
Where: The Chalk Drawings. Specifically the Thames.
Summary: Fuu stumbles into some pavement art.
Warnings: Cockney accents None!

Fuu hadn't been expecting to have an adventure today. She had gone exploring in the Beta Section just to see more of the ship, although she supposed she should have expected an adventure to come of that considering all the strange things that happened aboard Stacy.

When she found the wonderful chalked mural on a sidewalk, she took care not to step on any of the drawings; they were far too beautiful to think of smudging them. It was so nice to see that splash of color, a reminder of the time she'd spent drawing on the steps at home with Kuu. None of their work had been anything so artistic as this, though.

She found herself tipping a little as she crouched to inspect them more closely and threw out a hand to catch herself before she could think--but she needn't have worried about ruining the drawing. She fell right into it with a gasp of shock, clutching her glasses and yet thinking this is a familiar situation.

When she stopped shrinking, she looked up and saw just a beautiful blue sky with fluffy clouds and a shimmering river nearby. Not, as she had hoped, a clear way back. "Oh dear."

There was a LOT of the ship that had opened up since Brenda was last free to wander it and she had been killing a fair amount of time in the past few weeks, exploring all the bits of the place that she hadn't been to yet. The colorful sidewalk in the Beta Section drew her attention immediately when she came across it, as most things that she recognized from pop culture on the ship did.

Hmmm...

"So, if this is here, that means Mary Poppins is real and these are the real chalk drawings from the movie, doesn't it?" she thought aloud, leaning over to peer a little closer at the art.

How was she supposed to resist seeing if they worked?! They were RIGHT THERE!

One hop later she was staring up at a bright sky, the broad shimmering river rushing past, the majestic bridge not far downriver.

She could have done without having suddenly thematically appropriate clothes perhaps but...

"...oh crud, am I going to have to do a musical number to get out of here?"

She wheeled around, looking for any sort of mark of an exit, and blinked as she caught sight of a confused looking teenage girl barely ten feet off from her.

"Oh hello."

"Yep, I came by the chalk drawings. I just had to see if they worked like they did in the movie." she replied a bit sheepishly.

"I'm Brenda. Please tell me you haven't been stuck here for ages before I arrived."
