Meet N' Greet

||Initiating Meet and Greet. Crew members, for the sake of morale, there will be periodic meetings on the Obs Deck so that newer members of the crew can be welcomed and so the crew can communicate with one another.||

Apparently, Stacy liked to throw a party now and again.

"Yes. We will relax, and then we will train. And it will be all right." It sounded hollower than before, but some part of her still believed in it.

"Have you enjoyed yourself at all?"

"I have, actually. I picked out a house for myself down in the City - you're welcome to come and visit. It's a sort of walled garden pattern, and I suppose the best way to find it is to fly and look for that. It's inbetween Le Prefecture and the transport tubes, outside the rail loop."

She smiled at Starfire, not missing the touch of hollowness to her voice. "I hope you have things you can enjoy, too."

"It sounds truly beautiful. I would...enjoy visiting, I believe. Have you had trouble caring for the gardens?"

There! Flowers and plants and greenery were something nice and safe.

She shrugged apologetically. "The house doesn't seem to be hooked up to Stacy's water systems, so I don't really have a convenient way of reviving the garden that's there. I'm going to try and plumb the cistern with a camera, see if it's sound; if it is maybe I could have Kaya fill it with water for me. There is electricity, I should be able to get the plumbing working."

A fountain sprinkling over her garden would be pretty, but -

"There's also a rather large rock that's been dropped into it. Maybe I could plant vines on it." Something edible. Old habit: everything should be edible.
