Fuu returned the wave, smiling at the somewhat familiar redhead. It was nice to be able to talk to people outside of life-and-death battle.

"Thank you! Your magic was very impressive, too," she said, sensing Lina's awkwardness. It wasn't always easy to thank someone else for standing next to them in battle. "I've never seen spells like that before."

She paused--ah. "I'm sorry, I can't quite remember your name. I'm Fuu."

Honor is passing by. For the metaphorical kind, and the actual commodore herself, Nimitz in hands.

"Fuu." She says politely. "How have you been doing?"

Fuu gets a slightly goofy grin in return. "Likewise! And the name's Lina - Lina Inverse!"

She was going to comment more on the magic when Honor walks up, and her attention is drawn to Nimitz - Lina leans over, peering at the six-legged thing curiously.

Nimitz returns your curiousity and raises you three intrigue, Lina.

Honor salutes in reply. "Commodore Honor Harrington–Royal Manticorian Navy. I commanded starships and blew things up, in other words." She adds wryly.

"Oh, hello, Commodore!" Fuu said, smiling. "I've been quite well. And it's nice to meet you properly--" She debated internally for a moment, wondering which would be more correct to use. "Inverse-san."

She waved at Nimitz as well. The little creature was rather cute, for all Fuu had never seen one before. She'd never seen a... well, whatever Mokona was before before being summoned to Cephiro either. "I'm glad that we can all get to know each other, especially now that the ship has been freed."

Lina can't help a bit of satisfaction at Fuu's method of address. "Yeah, likewise." The Commodore's getting a bit more attention - mostly for speaking her language. "So a military person that can get things done, eh?"

Nimitz waves back cordially. So many interesting people on this ship!

Meanwhile, Honor gives Ms. Inverse a slightly narrow-eyed glance, and clasps her hands behind her back.

"I assume, of course, Ms. Inverse, that you're referring to the proportional quality of her Majesty's Navy at dealing with threats to Queen and Country compared to other institutions, and not, for instance, looking down upon all forms of military men and women in general."

Then she decides to soften the blow, sensing that the way to this young woman's heart is through Ka-Boom.

"And yes, I've gotten many things done. Often with large amounts of missiles."
